Hmmm!!!! I have been thinking of the way people prefer gas over petrol in running generators.

Generators are actually designed for petrol, not gas, but they can be modified or converted to gas using the right LPG conversion kits.

I understand why people prefer gas to petrol:

LPG produces less smoke and carbon deposits, resulting in cleaner burning, making the engine last longer, and reducing fuel contamination issues.

This method should only be done by professionals, not unqualified individuals.

Many people believe that shaking a gas cylinder is the best way to check if there's still gas available in the cylinder.
However, that's incorrect.You can't shake a gas cylinder to determine the quantity of gas left.

Gas is stored partly as liquid and partly as v***r, so when shaking it, the v***r will move together with the liquid, making it impossible to detect whether there's gas or v***r.

Furthermore, if your cylinder is old and weak, shaking it would damage the valves and may even make things worse.

To accurately check if you still have gas, use a weighing scale.Measure the initial weight of the cylinder when it's empty and keep a record of it.Refill it and weigh it to determine the quantity of gas you've gotten. If you need to add more gas, ask the gas attendant to check it for you so you'll know how much is left.
You can also use warm water to check.Pour it on the body of the cylinder, then touch the body to feel it.
If some areas feel cool, mark them to know where the gas stops.

Finally, observe the pressure. When your gas is still available, the pressure is high, and when it's about to finish, the pressure is low..

Pay attention to where you get your cooking gas from.

Not all LPG is the same.

Some tend to finish quick while some finish on due time.

Don't let anyone to deceive that all gases are the same when it comes to how fast it could be consumed when igniting it.

Customers tend to argue when it comes to cooking gas.

A customer will confidently claim that you filled air instead of gas for them.

Even when you're trying to identify the problem they might have unknowingly encountered,they will still try to teach you something they don't fully understand.
This isn't good.

You should at least listen to what the gas technician is saying.

Gas isn't something to argue about every time.
