Like I said, the price of tomatoes has increased a little bit.

Before, we were selling at ₦18,000 per basket, but the price has now gone up slightly to ₦21,000 per basket.

However, we always consider our bulk buyers, and they receive good discounts when buying in larger quantities. So if you’re buying in bulk, don’t hesitate to ask us for the current bulk price.

TOMATO PRICE UPDATE

Tomato prices are currently going up again, but we have different prices depending on the quantity you’re buying.

If you’re buying for home consumption, maybe 1 or 2 baskets, a basket of good-quality tomatoes goes for ₦21,000.

But if you’re buying for supply and crate arrangement, the price is different.

₦16,000 per basket for suppliers buying in large quantities.

However, to qualify for the ₦16,000 supplier price, your order must be enough for 10 crates and above.

So, in summary:

1–2 baskets: ₦21,000 per basket
10 crates and above: ₦16,000 per basket

The ₦16,000 price is strictly for large-volume suppliers arranging tomatoes into crates.

Did you see how big and beautiful this particular one is? Very big in size, greenish, fresh, and well-suitable for travelling.

And guess what? The price is not even high—it is very, very affordable! Things are moving well, and prices are gradually coming down. We thank God.

If you have been planning to restock your kitchen, this is a good time to start buying. I honestly believe the price may still come down further, but for now, this is already a very good time to buy and restock.

Have you ever come across this type of Irish potato called UP7?

A lot of people don’t know about it, so I decided to come out here and talk about it.

As you can see, UP7 is a very well-selected Irish potato. It doesn’t usually come in those small, small sizes. It is known for its big, well-developed tubers, making it a very attractive option.

And guess what? You can fry it, and you can cook it!

The inside is yellow, so don’t be confused by the colour of the skin. This is not a purple Irish potato, and the inside isn’t purple either. Once you cut it open, you’ll see the normal yellow flesh that makes it suitable for frying and cooking.

Just like other popular varieties such as Marabel, Nicola, and others, UP7 is another variety worth knowing about.

A lot of people have never heard about it, and that’s exactly why I’m sharing this.

I want more people to understand the different varieties of Irish potatoes available and the advantages of each one.
