SPEAKER OF THE STATE ASSEMBLY RESOLVES ELECTRICITY CHALLENGES IN FIVE WARDS

In a development that has not received much media attention, the long-standing electricity challenges affecting the communities of Beli, Fulatan, Zarewa, Ruwan Bago, and Gwangwan Wards in Rogo Local Government Area have been significantly addressed through a well-structured and result-oriented intervention under the leadership of the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Isma’il Falgore.

For many years, residents of these areas have endured unstable electricity supply, which negatively impacted small-scale businesses, water supply, and daily living.

While such challenges often attract public debates and promises, this effort followed a different approach—one characterized by quiet consultations, collaboration, and practical implementation aimed at achieving the goals and development agenda of the State Government.

According to a statement issued by the Information Officer of Rogo Local Government, Abdu Bako Abdullahi, ANIPR, the Chairman of the Local Government Electricity Committee, Malam Hafizu Ahmed, confirmed that the Speaker’s intervention aligns with the efforts of the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, to improve economic activities and the overall well-being of the people.

He expressed appreciation to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for granting the Speaker the support and opportunity to carry out this impactful project for the benefit of the affected communities.

He also commended the Speaker for executing this historic and highly beneficial intervention, which has brought relief and joy to the people.

Residents confirmed that damaged electrical infrastructure has been repaired, power lines have been restored, and electricity supply has gradually stabilized—all achieved without unnecessary publicity.

The Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, has officially launched the distribution of Zakkat to less privileged members of the Rogo Local Government Area community.

The exercise, carried out under the leadership of the Emir, is aimed at supporting vulnerable individuals and families across the Karaye Emirate. The initiative reflects the Emirate’s continued commitment to social welfare, poverty alleviation, and strengthening community support in line with Islamic principles of charity and compassion.

The District Head of Rogo Alhaji Garba Muhammad Bello Dan Isan Karaye expressed his appreciation to the Emir towards achieving the desired objectives and following the Sunna of prophet Muhammad May peace and blessings be with him, and thanked those who contributed immensely in this efforts to communities.

He enjoined worthy individuals of the local government to give out their Zakkat to boost socioeconomic development of the area.

SPEAKER JIBRIL ISMA’IL FALGORE INAUGURATES NEW MATERNITY HOSPITAL AND HEALTH POST TO BOOST RURAL HEALTHCARE IN ROGO LGA.

The Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Isma’il Falgore, has inaugurated two newly constructed healthcare facilities a Maternity Hospital at Kauyen Liman and a Health Post at Gidan Mari both located in Rogo Local Government Area of Kano State.

The facilities, initiated and funded by the Director of Protocol to the Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim Rogo, are named Alhaji Ibrahim DanDikko Memorial Maternity Clinic. They are designed to expand access to quality maternal and primary healthcare services for residents of the area.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Rt. Hon. Falgore reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the present administration under Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf to transforming the healthcare sector across Kano State. He commended the Governor for his vision and leadership in advancing infrastructure and social welfare projects, particularly in rural communities.

The Chairman of Rogo Local Government Council, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha Rogo, has commended the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his unwavering commitment to grassroots development and his numerous interventions aimed at improving the welfare of Local Government workers across the state.

The Member representing Tarauni Constituency and Sub-Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, Alhaji Kabiru Dahiru Sule, has expressed satisfaction with the developmental projects executed by the Rogo Local Government Council aimed at enhancing the socioeconomic development of the area.

KNSG Constructs and Renovates Classroom Blocks in Five Wards of Rogo Local Government Area.

The Secretary of the Community Reorientation Committee (CRC) in Rogo Local Government Area, Malam Kabiru Magaji Bari, has announced that the Kano State Government, under the leadership of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has successfully completed the construction and renovation of classroom blocks in five wards across the local government area.

Malam Kabiru made this known while addressing newsmen during an inspection visit to the newly completed classroom block at Bari Central Primary School.

The project was implemented by the CRC as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the learning and teaching environment for pupils in the area.

He expressed deep appreciation to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for prioritizing education and achieving this milestone, reaffirming the committee’s dedication to supporting the administration’s educational development agenda.

Rogo Local Government Council Takes Emergency Measures to Address Outbreak of a Strange Disease in Kwanar Alo, Ruwan Bago Ward, and Surrounding Areas.

Rogo Local Government Council has taken decisive steps to address the outbreak of an unidentified disease affecting residents in Kwanar Alo, Ruwan Bago Ward, and other areas within the local government.

The council has purchased drugs worth millions of Naira to curb the spread of the disease.

The Local Government Chairman announced the procurement of these drugs and ensured proper care for the affected patients currently admitted at the General Hospital in Rogo during his discussion with the council's Information Officer, Abdu Bako Abdullahi, in his office.

The Chairman of the Local Government, Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha Rogo, stressed the importance of swift action in tackling this issue.

He directed the Head of the Primary Healthcare Department to investigate the disease and take necessary measures to contain its spread across the local government area.

Alhaji Abubakar Mustapha Rogo affirmed that the council will continue working hand in hand with the administration of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf to prioritize healthcare initiatives in the area.
