SPEAKER OF THE STATE ASSEMBLY RESOLVES ELECTRICITY CHALLENGES IN FIVE WARDS
In a development that has not received much media attention, the long-standing electricity challenges affecting the communities of Beli, Fulatan, Zarewa, Ruwan Bago, and Gwangwan Wards in Rogo Local Government Area have been significantly addressed through a well-structured and result-oriented intervention under the leadership of the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Isma’il Falgore.
For many years, residents of these areas have endured unstable electricity supply, which negatively impacted small-scale businesses, water supply, and daily living.
While such challenges often attract public debates and promises, this effort followed a different approach—one characterized by quiet consultations, collaboration, and practical implementation aimed at achieving the goals and development agenda of the State Government.
According to a statement issued by the Information Officer of Rogo Local Government, Abdu Bako Abdullahi, ANIPR, the Chairman of the Local Government Electricity Committee, Malam Hafizu Ahmed, confirmed that the Speaker’s intervention aligns with the efforts of the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, to improve economic activities and the overall well-being of the people.
He expressed appreciation to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for granting the Speaker the support and opportunity to carry out this impactful project for the benefit of the affected communities.
He also commended the Speaker for executing this historic and highly beneficial intervention, which has brought relief and joy to the people.
Residents confirmed that damaged electrical infrastructure has been repaired, power lines have been restored, and electricity supply has gradually stabilized—all achieved without unnecessary publicity.
