The Federal House of Representatives member representing Gusau and Tsafe in Zamfara State, Hon. Kabiru Maipalace, has sponsored the renovation of 80 cemeteries across the Gusau and Tsafe local government areas of the state.

Speaking to journalists, he said this project will benefit his constituency after two years of service. He explained that, considering the poor condition of the cemeteries, they are indeed in need of repair, and as everyone knows, one day we too will be taken to those places—hence his focus on renovating them.

He added that, from now on, he has pledged to pay the salaries of the cemetery keepers and maintenance workers every month to motivate them. He further stated that, as a Muslim, he will not take lightly the responsibility of assisting fellow Muslims.
