Lessons for African Rulers!

1. The British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson contracted the novel coronavirus in the line of duty.

2. Even at that, he continued to discharge his duty from his self-isolation centre.

3. When his situation became worse and he couldn't carry on any longer, the British Foreign Secretary (Dominic Raab) stepped in for him.

4. He was not taken abroad for treatment.

5. He is being treated at St Thomas Hospital right there in London. .

6. The hospital is a public hospital where anyone can walk in and be treated. .

7. The media has been giving the world constant update about his health. !

8. The opposition party is also wishing him well because he has shown great leadership.

9. When he was moved to the intensive care unit of the hospital, it wasn't shrouded in secrecy. .

In conclusion: Leadership is not about the leader. It is about the people. Until Africans understand this, they will continue to rule (and be ruled) rather than lead (and be led).

[3/7, 8:25 AM] +260 97 9322040: WHAT CAUSES YOUTHS NOT MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT IN OUR COUNTRY? Laziness: we have many youth activities which can enable youths to be empowered. We need to engange ourselves in community activities such as games, skills etc. I have come to know that as long as we are quiet government will never know our desires. Most offices we fear them but people are welcome. Let's make efforts before we complain.
Create a job: once you develop your skills, you can create your own job unlike depending on government. We are used to work and feed. Hand to mouth. Let's always think of investment, every area has what what people need. For example if you are experienced in singing, baking, cooking etc. Start up a class were people can pay you a minimal amount to anable you do other things. We all have potentials. Some of you have business ideas which can be generated into money.
Not being an informed citizen: Being an informed citizen means that you know the right things you have to do. For example incase someone wants you to corrupt them on things you know you deserve, as an informed citizen you won't agree.
There are many things but I thought of sharing this.
In conclusion, let's be citizens with the right mind sets. Everything begins in the mind. As a man thinketh.... So is he🙏
