How to increase your productivity

Eliminate Distractions

TV and social media accounts take up a large chunk of everybody's time--being always connected has become normal, and you may think that being reachable, personable, and always connected will be good for your business. However, it is better to stay far away from this as possible. While it is good for your business to have presences on these distractions, putting your own time and energy into it will suck time out of your own schedule and the time that you are spending trying to grow.

Make Sure Your Goals Are Reachable

While you are not going to be able to accomplish much with smaller goals, if they are ambitious but reachable, then you have hit the mark with what you need to do. People will work harder and faster when a goal is in sight, and you can use this to your advantage within your business in order to drive growth and productivity.

Set- Up Time For Your Emails

While it is tempting to answer emails as they come in for a multitude of reasons such as not forgetting about them or appearing to be always reachable, answering them as they come in is actually a very ineffective way to handle these communications. Instead, you should set up a few times a day to handle the emails that come to you; this way, you will not have to stop what you are working on multiple times in order to address email concerns, and you will make sure that all emails are handled and none of them slip through.

Set Up A System with Rewards

You are likely to work faster and harder when there are rewards in sight for doing so. After all, it is hard to keep up motivation when there is no tangible payoff for extra work, especially in the long - term. Having milestones set up and motivators for you to pull through and achieve at a higher caliber will boost your productivity more than many other tactics ever will.

Make Sure That Everybody Has Time For Themselves

As tempting as it might be to make longer working hours mandatory in order to get more done, you will not achieve much if you are fatigued. Productivity is always higher when people have had enough sleep and enough time away from a task, in order to come into it, refreshed during their prime working hours. Give yourself enough breaks during the day and enough time to get amply rested for the next day if you want to see your productivity soar; in addition to just feeling better in general.

DO YOU WANT TO BECOME A MILLIONAIRE?

The greatest reward in becoming a millionaire is not the amount of money that you earn. It is the kind of person that you have to become, to become a millionaire."

The quality of who you are as a person, and the work you do, is entirely in your power to define. To be successful, you must first be its magnet.

Here's How:

#1 Don't work for money. Work to learn.
Education is the sharpener of our axes. If we were to all go into the business of cutting down trees, he who has the sharpest axe is king. We are all cutting down trees. Trees of business challenges. Trees of emotional turmoil. Trees of workplace politics. Money might buy us luxury but when it comes to problem solving, knowledge is exceedingly priceless. Imagine $ as fruits on a well planted tree. The more enriched your soil, the better the quality of your fruits.

#2 Shift your motivation from getting to giving.
The world gives to givers and takes from takers. Do you know what feels better than making US$1 million? Being able to give it all away does! Beyond the satisfaction of giving, giving builds trusts, lends credibility and creates deeper relationships. The culmination of these 3 gives back opportunities beyond your imagination! I have had deals introduced to me by men whose drink I merely bought once.

#3 Set 10X goals and face your fears.
Tony Robbins famously quotes TAKE MASSIVE ACTION. He is not wrong. When you start thinking about 10x goals, your brain thinks at a much higher level. You become more creative, you start crafting out ideas, you smell success. Creating 10x goals is an adrenaline jab that does wonders. It might scare you but when you cross boundaries that others dare not, you go places they cannot.

Today you are in for a great sharing from my friend, Dr Travis Bradberry. It dives into how ultra successful people use emotional intelligence to achieve their dreams! For your easy digestion, I have crunched down his findings with Strayer University into 5 easily repeated habits.

1. Be composed.

Ultra-successful people are composed because they constantly monitor their emotions; they understand them, and they use this knowledge in the moment to react to challenging situations with self-control. When things go downhill, they are persistently calm and frustratingly content (frustrating to those who aren’t, at least).

2. Be knowledgeable.

Super-successful people know more than others do because they’re constantly working to increase their self-awareness. They vow constant growth. Whenever they have a spare moment, they fill it with self-education. They don’t do this because it’s “the right thing to do”; they do it because it’s their passion. They’re always looking for opportunities to improve and new things to learn about themselves and the world around them.

3. Deliberate.

Ultra-successful people reach decisions by thinking things out, seeking advice from others and sleeping on it. They know that (as studies show) impulsively relying too much on gut instinct is ineffective and misleading. Being able to slow down and logically think things through makes all the difference.

4. Speak with certainty.

It’s rare to hear super-successful people utter things, such as “um,” “I’m not sure,” and “I think.” Successful people speak assertively because they know it’s difficult to get people to listen to you if you can’t deliver your ideas with conviction.

5. Use positive body language.

Becoming cognizant of your gestures, expressions and tone of voice (and making certain they’re positive) draws people to you like ants to a picnic. Using an enthusiastic tone, uncrossing your arms, maintaining eye contact and leaning toward the person who’s speaking are all forms of positive body language that super-successful people use to draw others in.

A journey of thousand miles begins with a single step. Take one each day and you will reach your dream destination.

CREATE YOUR VISION BOARD

Having a vision in life is so important, and writing it down is just as important.

Write down your vision and make it clear so you can see it.

That why a Vision board is a great tool to have. Some where you can write down your dreams and visions and watch them become a reality.

You might have heard what the master motivator Zig Ziglar said: "If you aim at nothing, you'll hit it every time."

Now think about this in relation to what you really want in your financial life, your health or your romance. Ask yourself this:

"What am I aiming at?"

Most people never get what they want out of their life because they don't know what they really want.

They just wander aimlessly through life until they settle on something that "seems" nice to them. Occasionally, they get bored and decide to start wandering again.

One thing is for sure, though. They almost never get what they want--and even if they do, they usually don't keep it for long.

If you want to avoid being one of these "wandering generalities," here's where you need to start.

Why You Need a Vision Board

The most significant motivation behind your consistent actions is your subconscious mind. This is because your subconscious mind is what controls your emotional drives.

As you know, your behaviors are influenced by the thoughts which carry the strongest emotional charge.

Now, considering this, it ought to be easy to figure out how important it is for you to harness the power of your subconscious mind to fuel your passion and pursue what you really want.

A vision board is one of the most powerful tools for doing this. It provides you with powerful visual stimuli that plant "seeds" in your subconscious that are consistent
with what you want.

It's very simple to create one. All you need is a poster board and a few dozen pictures of things that you want in your life: the type of house you want, the kind of body that you want, the kind of partner you want to attract, etc.

By creating this dream board and putting it somewhere you can see it every day, you awaken desires in your subconscious mind. These desires will drive you towards actions that will help you get what you want.

Now in case you're skeptical about this, just think about how much money corporations spend on advertisements which use colors, shapes, words and images to provoke emotional responses in people.

Considering the astronomical amount of consumer debt in most nations, it's easy to see just how influential advertising is.

But what if you could create your own "advertisements" which you could use to "sell yourself" on your own dreams?

How much more motivated would you be to create practical plans for getting what you want--and to act on those plans?
This is exactly what you're doing when you create your own
dream board.

Can you guess what happens if you don't do this?

If your answer was "nothing," consider this: Everywhere you go, you're bombarded with advertisements that were created by people who are trying to get you to spend your time and money to help them build their dreams.

There's no way to escape these messages, they're everywhere. Your only line of defense is to create your own "advertising campaign."

You have to make the voice and the vision of your dreams the loudest and clearest things in your life.

It really comes down to a choice: You either make a proactive effort to build up the value of your own dreams or you let yourself be influenced by the dreams of others.

Life is too short to keep building the dreams of other people.

If you're ready to get to work on building your own and you're wondering what the first thing is that you need to do, don't wait another moment--start creating your dream board today.

According to Hellen Keller, "The only thing worse than being blind, is having sight but no vision"

THE SECRET OF SUCCESS ACCORDING TO JACK MA

According to Jack Ma, the founder and CEO of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, it takes love to succeed despite long odds. He grew up poor, failed his university entrance exams (twice), and was turned away from dozens of jobs. Now he's worth something like $29 billion.

What does he credit for his success?

In a recent talk at the Bloomberg Global Business Forum, he explained that while IQ is certainly helpful, and EQ is also beneficial for getting ahead, his rags to riches story was possible only because he possessed another extremely valuable quality -- LQ. "If you want to be respected, you need LQ," he told the assembled bigwigs.

Our secret weapon to beat the machines: LQ
What's LQ? It's "the quotient of love, which machines never have," Ma explained. In a world of rising technology, what will allow you to succeed isn't sheer mental horsepower -- computers will always be faster and more accurate, after all -- nor is it just basic EQ, like regulating your own emotions and recognizing others'. What sets humans apart is love, i.e. our feeling for justice, our creativity in the face of challenges, our ability to empathize deeply and respond wisely.

"A machine does not have a heart, [a] machine does not have soul, and [a] machine does not have a belief. Human being have the souls, have the belief, have the value; we are creative, we are showing that we can control the machines," he insisted.

The problem, according to Ma, is that we're training young people to try to outdo machines in areas where we'll never beat them. Instead, we should be nurturing children's LQ. "We have to teach our kids to be very, very innovative, very creative," Ma said. "In this way, we can create jobs for our own kids."

In all, Love conquers all challenges.
