DO I NEED TO BE A SALES EXPERT TO BUILD AN ONLINE BUSINESS? 🤔

Not at all. Most people don't start out knowing how to sell, market or have business conversations. These are skills you can learn over time. The important thing is being willing to learn, practise and get better as you go.

You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. Sometimes, the best place to start is simply being open to learning something new and allowing yourself to grow along the way.

Not at all. Building an online business isn't about being online every minute of the day. It's about learning how to use your time intentionally, understanding the right activities, and creating content and conversations that can keep working even when you're offline.

The goal isn't to spend your whole life glued to your phone. It's to learn how to build something that can fit into your life. And for many busy people, that's exactly why this kind of business is worth exploring. ❤️

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED TO BUILD AN ONLINE BUSINESS? 🤔

There isn't one answer for everyone. The beauty of learning to build an online business is that many people start around their existing responsibilities and use the time they genuinely have available. You don't necessarily have to wait for life to become completely free before you begin.

What matters is being willing to learn, being consistent with the time you do have, and understanding what you're building. Small, intentional steps can still move you forward. ❤️

TRUE OR FALSE: Your brain can sometimes mistake what is familiar for what is safe. 👀

Answer: TRUE!

Sometimes we stay in routines, jobs, situations, or ways of thinking simply because they are familiar,
not necessarily because we're happy nor it's helping us grow but because we know what to expect.

Here's the interesting part...
Something new can feel uncomfortable, even when it could be good for us,not always because it's wrong. It's simply because it's unfamiliar.

So here's something to think about this Friday:

Sometimes, the thing you learn for one dream can help you build another. ❤️

When I started building my online business, I was focused on learning how to grow it but along the way, I gained more than I expected.

I learned new ways of thinking about business, reaching people, and using the online space to grow an idea.

Then later, I noticed a gap in my estate. People often had to go outside the estate to proteins and I thought, “Why not make it easier for people here?”

So I started small, serving people within my estate but the business eventually grew beyond my estate.

And as it expanded, I realised that some of the knowledge and skills I had gained through my online business were helping me think bigger and grow it further too.

That really made me think. Sometimes, we look at an opportunity and only ask, “What can I get from this, perhaps there's another question worth asking:

“What could I learn from this that might open other doors in my life?”

You don't always have to throw away everything you have before exploring something new. Sometimes, you simply start where you are, learn as you go, and see what you can build from there. ❤️

“I'm not good with technology.” If that's the thought stopping you from exploring an online business, you're not alone. But you don't need to know everything on day one. Most skills can be learned step by step, and confidence often comes from actually using the tools, not waiting until you feel like an expert.

Have you ever had all the information... and still had no idea what to do next?

You know what you need to do.
You've read the books.
Attended the training.
Listened to the advice.

But somehow, you're still standing there thinking, “Okay... but what do I do now?”

Something I heard at church recently really made me pause.The preacher spoke about asking God for the spirit of understanding.

And I thought, yes because sometimes, we don't need more information. We need the understanding to know what to do with the information we already have.

I thought about my girls.
My home.
My business.
The decisions ahead.

There are moments in every area of life when we need to know how to apply what we know to the situation right in front of us.

So I'm learning to pray differently not just, “Lord, give me more.”but, “Lord, give me the understanding to know what to do with what You've already placed in my hands.”

Maybe you've been feeling stuck lately.

Maybe you don't need another course, another opinion or another piece of information right now.

The better question might be, “Am I willing to learn?” With the right guidance and a willingness to take one step at a time, you can learn skills you don't have today. You don't need to know everything before you begin.

The most dangerous thing isn't always what you don't know. It's what you think you know.

The person who doesn't know the way will probably stop and ask for directions.
But someone who has been confidently given the wrong direction?
They may keep walking for miles, believing they are getting closer to where they want to go.

That's the thing about wrong information.
When we know we don't know something, we're more likely to ask questions.
But when we believe we already have the answer, we may never stop to check if the information is correct.
And sometimes, that can keep us moving in the wrong direction for much longer than we realise.
