Now let's talk about ladies going to live with their boyfriends.

There is nothing wrong in visiting your boyfriend as a student, a businesswoman, or a worker. There is even nothing wrong in spending 1-3 days at his place, as it gives you the opportunity to know him better whole it also gives him the opportunity to know you better. But you see packing your belongings from your parents house to go and stay with your boyfriend is VERY WRONG.

First of all, it leads to see finish, the same see finish that made you 'run out' of your parents house to go and stay with him, and it is even worse. Because while your parents will still protect you, most times your boyfriend would instead use you to his advantage since he already sees you as someone of little worth (You leave your papa house come dey squat with am).

Secondly, it is not morally right to even do that, and in everything one does, moral perspective is very important. If people have a bad moral perspective of who you are, it means you would have to do a lot to get your respect back, way so much you will need to do.

Finally, you don't even know if the guy will eventually marry you. Yes, you may believe strongly that he will but what of he doesn't? It would mean you were used extensively and excessively and dumped. That is why car sellers allow prospective car buyer to test the car they wish to buy by driving it for say 30 minutes, but they will never tell a prospective buyer no matter who, to carry the car home and use for some days before deciding of they would buy the car or not. If they allow that people will simply go to the show rooms, get a car of their choice, take it home, show off with it, drive it around and return it after a few days or weeks saying they don't like it and that will reduce the car's value.

be like the car owner, stop moving in with your boyfriend when you are not both legally married.

It's a new year.
1. Do not waste your time with anybody or on anybody.
2. Identify the red flags and flee when you should.
3. Do not be greedy. Be happy with what you have but also try to seek better but not greedily.
4. Love is not the most important in a relationship. So don't sheepishly follow someone because of love. Be sure they are what you want in other aspects.
5. Change your bad behaviour or at least, make efforts to adjust. Stop looking for who will accept you the way you are with your bad character.

SHOULD YOU PAY FOR FOOD ON YOUR FIRST DATE?

First dates are usually important in the process of relationship building. Now, first date here isn't the description of what you may know it as (date you go after you start dating), No. First date in this post means the first meeting you have with the opposite gender you intend to start dating. So, you are still at the talking stage and you both meet to see eachother face-to-face and talk. After all, nothing beats face-to-face.

In Africa, it is tradition for a man who is on the date with a woman, to pay for whatever is eaten by himself and the lady during the date. We all know that as Africans. So ladies, you have nothing to fear when going on a first date with that guy. However, you should STOP the habit of always seeing it as an opportunity to overfeed yourself.

Basira, a guy that is still talking to you and you are still thinking whether to accept or not asked you out for a date, and you went there to eat rice + chicken + turkey + amala and gbegiri + wine + smallchops, all in one stomach. You still ordered for takeaway again haaaaa 😲.

Sassy Matilda, you went on a date with four of your friends and they all fed themselves to the brim and ordered take home. You are sassy but not in behaviour. Because if you were sassy in behaviour, you would have known that it is wrong. STOP ABUSING THE PROCESS.

Anyway, to preserve your dignity as a lady, and to protect your pocket as a man, it is best that when you go on a date with someone you are still at the talking stage with, both of you should separately order whatever you want and pay for what you eat. That way, as a lady you are able to show that you can take care of your self, your basic needs such as food, thereby maintaining your value and self-worth, The guy cannot ask you to come over after eating. And as a guy, it helps you spend within your means and destroys the intention that once you eat, you must go home together.
