Wow! Bill Gate was asked if there was someone richer than him, his reply will melt your heart..
Back when Bill Gate was the richest man on earth, someon asked him " Is there anyone richer than you in the world"?
Bill Gate replied " Yes there's a person who is richer than me. It was when I wasn't rich or famous. I was at the New York airport and I saw a newspaper vendor.
" I wanted to buy one newspaper and I realized I didn't have change. So, I left the idea of buying and returned it to the vendor. I told him of not having the change.
"The vendor said 'I'm giving you this for free', on this insistence I took the newspaper"
"Coincidentally, after two to three months, I landed on the same airport and again I was short of change to buy a newspaper. The vendor offered me the newspaper again. I refused and said I can't take it as I don't have change today too.
" He said, 'you can take it, I'm sharing this from my profit. I won't be at loss'. I took the newspaper.
"After 19years, I became famous and known by people. Suddenly I remembered that vendor. I began searching for him. After one and half month, I found him.
"I asked him, 'do you know me'? He said, 'Yes, you're Bill Gate'.
" I asked him again, 'Do you remember once you gave me newspapers for me?' The vendor said, 'Yes I remember, I gave you twice'.
"I said, 'I want to repay that help you offered me that time. Whatever you want in life, tell me, I shall fulfill it'.
" He said, 'Sir, don't you think by doing so, you won't be able to match my help?'
"I asked, 'why?. He said 'I helped you when I was a poor newspaper vendor but you are trying to help me now when you have become richest man in the world, how can your help match mine?
" That day, I realized the newspaper vendor was richer than I am. Because he didn't wait to become rich to help someone"
"People need to understand that the truly rich are those who possess a rich heart rather than lots of money.
Kindness makes you the most beautiful person in the world, no matter what you look like".

This was the circulated photo of a vulture waiting for a starving Sudanese girl to die so it can feast on her. It was taken by Kevin Carter, a prolifbic photojournalist, during the fa mine of 1993 in Sudan. This photo later won Kevin the Pulitzer prize for an 'exceptional' caption.

However, Kevin later got depressed and took his own life four months after his world wide celebration as a skillful photographer. He fell to depression. His depression began when during an interview ( a phone-
in programme), someone asked him what happened to the child. *"I did not wait to see what happened after this shot as I had a flight to catch.... ".* And the person replied, "I put it to you that there were two vultures that day; one had a camera". This statement sank Kevin and as he constantly thought of the statement, he got depressed and ended his own life.

In whatever we do, let's consider humanity first before what we can gain. Kevin Carter, may still have been alive today had it be he helped that little child.

We have not truly lived, until our lives have become the stars and sunshine of someone else.

Search within you and if there is that one person you feel you can help start now tomorrow might be too late.

Share with a friend or two. God bless you.

Please, donโ€™t sack your boss yet.
Also, donโ€™t quit your 9-5 job just yet to follow your dreams and passions.
โ€œReasons.โ€
I know you must have heard some speakers saying one of these;
โ€œYou can never be wealthy working as an employee.โ€
โ€œSalary is the bribe they pay you to forever remain as a slave.โ€
โ€œJob is modern day slaveryโ€™โ€™ and many others.
To some extents those statement might be true but one thing they fail to tell you is that the road to entrepreneurship is really tough and hard. It is not a roller coaster.
Do you know that Jeff Bezos the owner of AMAZON worked for 10 good years without making any profits? NETFLIX you know very well was running at a loss for so many years before they hit their major breakthrough recently.
Can you pull that off? Though, it is possible but it is not easy.
I am not here to scare you but to set the record straight because of recent Iโ€™ve been reading many posts shading โ€œMotivational Speakersโ€ on this subject.
They will only inspire and motivate you, show you the way, it is your job to act on it and follow through, and most importantly listen to those who walk their talk because talk is cheap.
So, before you think of quitting your 9-5 job, ensure that you are willing to give more than that time in that business you intend to start. And most importantly, ensure that you have saved enough money to cater for your feeding, a place to sleep and sustaining the business you are about to start.
It is very vital and non-negotiable, because if you chose to follow only your dreams and passion without first meeting these basic needs, I wonโ€™t lie to you, HUNGER WILL EAT YOU, YOUR DREAM AND YOUR PASSION.
It is important you take cognizance of this lifeโ€™s reality.
If your present job is providing you some sort of cash flows no matter how little; save as much as you can and invest with it, from the returns of your investment you can use it to chase or fuel your dreams and passions.
It will get to a stage you can easily quit your job and it wonโ€™t be detrimental to you in anyway.
Meanwhile, love where you are until you can be where you love, and also, learn some financial management skills, interpersonal relationship, organization structure and how to sell yourself, they will come in handy for you in a long run.
Don't put yourself in harms way, because you deserve better!
Thank you.

Two important management lessons I learnt from a
500 Naira note.

1. It happened some time ago but I was in an audience listening to
a motivational speaker. The speaker got out his wallet & pulled out a 500 Naira note. Holding it up,
he asked, "Who wants this 500
naira note?"
Lots of hands went up. Including mine. A slow chorus began to
build as people began to shout "Me!" "Me!"
I began to wonder who the lucky one would be who the speaker would choose. And I also secretly wondered (and I am sure others did too )
why he would simply give away 500 naira. Even as the shouts of
"I want it" grew louder, I noticed a young woman running down the
aisle. She ran up onto the stage, went up to the speaker, and
grabbed the 500 naira note from his hand. "Well done, young lady,"
said the speaker into the microphone.
The speaker simply said "Most of us just sit and wait for good
things to happen. That's of no use. You've got to make things happen. Make a move" 'Simply thinking about doing something is of no use and not good enough'. Our lives are like that.
We all see opportunities around us. We all want the good things.
But the problem is we don't take action. We all want the 500 naira
notes on offer. But we don't make the move. We look at it longingly.
Get up, and do something about it. Don't worry about what other
people might think. *Take action.*
