Happy birthday to Bolaji Badejo, the man behind the teeth in Alien (1979). A Nigerian visual artist at the time standing at 6 feet 10 inches tall, Bolaji was "discovered" inside a pub in Soho by a member of Ridley Scott's team. Actor Yaphet Kotto had gotten so deep in his own character, he developed an animosity for Bolaji ( who he saw as the creature, not the man) and physically confronted him on set. Bolaji proceeded to pick up Yaphet OVER his head and put him back down. Yaphet did not go back for seconds.

Those bashing Soludo for not supporting Obi cos they are both igbos are complicating matters. Then Yoruba bashing us for not supporting Tinubu are right nah!
I don't think all of us get direction. And I hope we that we think we are heading towards same direction are on same page, cos me no understand.
Like Tribe and religion has eaten so deep that we lost our sense of judgement and choice.
I think we are just deceiving ourselves, our being together as one nation is almost a mistake now. Only a miracle can change the narratives. Deep inside everyone, we all have hidden agendas, self interest cocooned in religious and tribal sentiments and all narrowed down to self interest. Deeply rooted from the original source emanating from the "Emi lo kan" syndrome. Igbo feels awon lokan, Yoruba feels awa lokan, Muslim feels "awa lo tun kan" Christians feels kilode ti o kan wa" traditionalists feel like "ko le kan wa".
But in real sense, the cravings to make a society better is to speak in a universal language and it's one word " Selflessness" you first before me. With that you think of the unborn generation before the existing one, in this manner, no way that you won't have a super earth. The developed countries are now looking for habitable areas in space, they have moved. For how long do we continue to move in circle?
I wish to be proud for once coming from this country, from this continent.
