Sometimes It Takes an Imbecile to Make You See the Genius
Okay, so I need to talk about something I didn’t expect to care about.
I was scrolling through Facebook (as one does when pretending to be productive), when I came across this absolutely ridiculous video. I almost kept scrolling.
But… he was sipping Hero (mmanya anyi) by
And here's the twist: as absurd as the video was, I couldn't look away. In between the chaotic editing and over-the-top commentary, the product was actually doing something impressive. Like, really impressive.
By the end of the video, I realized: this "imbecile" accidentally made one of the most effective ads I’ve ever seen. Not because it was polished, but because it was real. Unfiltered. Almost annoyingly honest.
So here I am, a normal human who’s never made an ad in my life, feeling unexpectedly inspired by a stranger who might not know the difference between a tripod and a toaster—but who reminded me how powerful a great product can be.
HERO Company, you might want to take a second look at the wild content your product is generating out in the world. Even in the hands of chaos, your design holds up. That says a lot.
