First things first - you can't have a viable goal or plan for the future without a vision statement.
It is what keeps you from chasing everything. It is what gives you a focus while pursuing your desired outcomes. .
A vision statement isn't just a fancy statement. Ideally, it gives you something to work towards, and something to guide your decision making.
This post isn't meant for those who are doing business just for the sake of it.
If you're in business just to make some money or improve your status or keep busy, don't even bother with this.
But if you genuinely want to solve problems, be the change and improve the world around you, it's never too late to build a solid foundation. .
Our vision is to be the preferred SME consulting firm for African entrepreneurs who want to build successful businesses that will outlive them.
It sounds pretty audacious and should. Everything else must draw from and be in sync with the VS - values, goals, objectives, strategies, etc.
These are the foundations of great companies. So if you want to stop thinking and acting small, it's time to get started! . .
