URGENT VACANCY FOR A FINANCE ANALYST IN ABUJA

A. Vacancy Opportunity
There is an opening for a young, vibrant and energetic Finance Analyst in a world class NGO. The location of employment is Abuja, Nigeria.

B. Work Expectations and Deliverables
• Handle petty cash disbursement and reconciliation
• Prompt reconciliation of all bank accounts and preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statements.
• Work closely with the Administrative officer to ensure that best prices are negotiated for supplies through effective market.
• Maintain proper accounting records of transactions and ensuring proper trail is kept of transactions
• Assist the Financial controller with the periodic reconciliation and preparation of required financial reports.
• Monitor short term investments of the Alliance to ensure that interest income are appropriated recorded and accounted for
• Ensure that statutory deductions including PAYE, pension contribution, NHF, VAT, Withholding tax etc are appropriately made and remitted.
• Work with the financial controller to ensure prompt audit of financial statements
• Carry out other functions as may be advised by the financial controller
