Budgeting is one way that organisations can use to plan their finances.
This can be done monthly, quarterly, half yearly or yearly.
Make sure you monitore your budget regularly.
Variance analysis will get you informed on what is happening to your budgets.
A lower income shows that the business is not doing well and vice versa.
A high expenditure without a corresponding high income is a red flag.

When i graduated from the higher Institution, mine was a polytechnic in Nigeria with HND (upper credit)
You can imagine my grade.
Getting a job now became a difficult task , i walked the street of Lagos, like the so called banks then prefer to employ a B.S.C holder instead of us who had Banking and Finance ( with Finance as my major)
The ones who are even ready to employ wants a 26 years old graduate with 2 years experience.
I wondered how this is even possible.
well the search Continued . I came from a humble family, but that did not stop me.
I eventually got my first job as a cashier in a trading store at Idumota.
Omo i jumped at it, then the pay was not fantastic, but instead of staying at home i decided to accept it.
Then my journey to becoming an Accountant started.
This my story will be shared daily till the end.
Just keep coming back to know what eventually happened to me.

Hi guys!!!.
I will be talking on how to calculate pension.
-
As we all know pension is a compulsory deduction from an employee salary.
And it is accessible from when you retire .
This post is to enable you calculate yours.
-
I know so many people don’t even know how they arrive at pension amount.
-
Let me dissect it now.
- To calculate it.
-
First identify the following
1. Basic salary
2. Housing
3. Transport
You will add all(BHT) then you get the Total.
So we have two(2) contributors
1. Yourself
2. The employer
Rate of calculation is
-
The employee 8% of (BHT)
The employer 10% of (BHT)
-
The total of both is your pension.
-
So is so simple like that.
