Over the years, proficiency in Microsoft Excel has played an instrumental role in shaping my career trajectory. This powerful tool, ingrained in the fabric of most corporations, has been my sidekick in solving complex problems and driving impressive data-centric results.
Ironically, my expertise was not gained in a traditional classroom setting but was forged through direct problem-solving encounters and consistent self-learning. Convinced of the power Excel has to offer, I decided to give back, sharing this knowledge with those who might need it through free courses over the past half-decade.
I had the privilege of teaching basics of Excel, financial modelling, and even Visual Basic for Applications (VBA). If you missed these lessons, fear not. They are all neatly compiled in a dedicated YouTube playlist that you can revisit at any convenient time.
However, my journey in teaching is not finished yet. Come Saturday, 11th March 2024, at 11 am, I am delighted to invite you to yet another session – ‘The Basics of Excel’. Designed especially for beginners, this session promises to imbue you with a comprehensive understanding of Excel’s powerful basic features before transitioning into more complex functionalities.
This includes navigating through the interface, data entry rules, pivot tables, and data validation to advanced concepts such as automated calculations and sophisticated data analysis tasks.
While gaining knowledge, you can contribute to a humanitarian cause as well. Half the proceeds from the class will fuel the ‘Move to Action’ campaign, a noble initiative targeting to support 5,000 women, children, and underprivileged communities with feeding and household supplies in 4 states in Nigeria throughout the month of March.
This way, your journey of learning something new doesn’t just elevate your career but also uplifts lives of several others in need.
