I was on a bus today and this well dressed young man approached me asking for a hundred naira( #100)claiming he needed transport fare. To be honest, the first thing that came to my mind was "another corporate beggar" (Don't judge me🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️, it's Lagos and there are people that beg for a living).⁣

But then it reminded me of a time I was stranded... it wasn't a funny experience at all o😉😉⁣
I had gone shopping for clothes that day with enough money. Usually, when I go shopping for clothes I "hide" some amount of money inside my purse because I have noticed I tend to overspend. ⁣

Anyways after I was done shopping that day, I decided to board a bus back home. I have the habit of holding my t-fare in my hand before entering the bus because I don't like when people come down from the bus and delay other passengers just because they have to search their bag for their money. That was when I realized that I had no "reserve" in my purse😰😰.⁣

Mehn, E be like the film for my eye. I was a little far from home and I just didn't know what to do. My ATM 💳 for some reasons was not with me. Transport fare was just a hundred naira. I stood at the bus stop for over an hour hoping that someone I know or someone that knows me will pass. My village people must have been somewhere rejoicing. ⁣

I finally summoned the courage to beg for money. Arrrg me... I was sha looking for someone with a friendly face. Finally, I settled for one light-skinned aunty(she looked really nice). I explained my ordeal to her. She said she was going my way so we boarded a bus together and she paid for me. That was how I sorted myself out o 🙃.⁣

I have been passive here for a while and I have noticed a few new faces around here 😍😍so I thought to re-introduce myself for anyone who doesn't know me(or even if you do and just want to know a little more about me 💃🏽💃🏽)!⁣⁣

To start with, I am an introvert and can survive indoors for as long as my phone, laptop, electricity, data and food are readily available. ⁣⁣⁣
-I am one hell of a sleepy head. I can literally sleep all day (feel free to judge me 😂).⁣⁣

- I sleep without a pillow. May not be such a good choice for my neck but I sleep much better without a pillow.⁣⁣⁣

-I can't sleep in a dark room 🥴. ⁣⁣

-I bathe with hot water everyday⁣
⁣⁣⁣
-I am currently a final year mechanical engineering student⁣ 📚🔩⚙.⁣⁣
