Sales Manager (Lagos, Abeokuta or Ibadan)
Our client, a waste recycling company with their first factory in Ibadan, is in need of a Sales Manager to formulate and implement strategy to expand its customer base to meet revenue targets; identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status; utilize analytics tools and works with the analytics team in undertaking detailed analyses of sales performance for the purpose of reporting sales strategy successes, weaknesses, and opportunities to senior sales management; oversee regional and local sales staff; and provide leadership over the sales department.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
HND/BSC Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Communications, Marketing, or any other related filed.
Minimum of 8 years of sales experience with the last 3 years as Regional Sales Manager/ Area Sales Manager or any similar senior sales role
Superior writing and verbal communication skills
Superb ability to drive sales process from plan to close
Strong sense of teamwork with ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
Effective people management and mentoring skills
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills

Some Responsibilities:
Identify emerging markets and market shifts
Work with the analytics team to undertake detailed analysis of sales performance
Ensure delivery of weekly/monthly/annual and seasonal sales targets for the department, examining growth opportunities and enabling sales improvements
Identify hiring needs, select and train Sales Executives and new Sales Representatives
Plan and organize sales staff daily work schedule
Write and submit daily sales reports
Provide leadership over sales department
Monitor and evaluate the performance of sales team
