The World Bank Bank/Federal Ministry of Education In Collaboration With Digital Age Consultants Ltd have embarked on IDEAS Project which is Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS–TVET).. The Project which has formally commenced is a practical hands-on training for unemployed youths who will be equipped with 21st Century Digital Skills.
The training which started seamlessly is recording milestones already is equipping young Nigerians with market-relevant skills, enhancing employability and promoting self-reliance. The beneficiaries were selected under the IDEAS Project after a rigorous process that took place nationwide.
IDEAS Project as a life-changing platform designed not only to provide 21st century skills but also to expose participants to entrepreneurship training, mentorship, industrial attachment, and eventual job placement or self-employment opportunities.
Nigerian youths have expressed appreciation to the organisers and funders of the project, describing it as a timely intervention in the face of growing youth unemployment.
