When building your app, there are a lot of things you need to think about.

Some of them include user experience, security, scalability.

But there’s one area almost everyone ignores…

Marketing.

Yes, marketing.

And this is exactly where many people with great app ideas miss it.

There are decisions you can make before you even build the app that will drastically reduce your marketing costs later.

So if you have an app idea, your first step is not to look for a developer.

Your first step is to click the link in bio.

Recently, a client mentioned to me that his web app was not showing in Google search results.

After investigating, I realized that his SEO structure was incomplete.

I told him my fee, he paid, and I went to work.

I did all the work on Thursday.

By Saturday, his web app was showing as numbers 1 and 2 in Google search results for the search word he told me he wanted.

Now, he has asked me to offer him some other marketing-related services, and when I named my price, he did not argue.

In a service-based business, getting results for your clients is the surest way to retain them.

Don't just make noise about what you can do or not do.

When they get results, they will not need to be convinced that you truly are the real deal.

At we not only work with our clients to bring their app ideas to life and craft their digital marketing strategies, but we ensure they get results.

Need any of our services? Send a DM.

Meanwhile, if you have an app idea, talking to a developer is not the first thing you need to do.

You need to watch this webinar in bio first.

Every week, I meet smart Nigerians who spent millions building the wrong app - not because their ideas were bad, but because they started from the wrong place.

1 - The #1 mistake that makes most apps fail before launch

2 - How to avoid wasting millions on features nobody will use

3 - The proven roadmap top founders use to validate their ideas

4 - How to build an app investors actually want to fund

This is what is going to happen to you as well if you don't approach app development the right way.

You need to start on the right foot to prevent the same thing from happening to you.

It is lack of wisdom to commit resources to something without getting the right information about it.

The transformation of this particular client, Mr. G, after he came in contact with me makes me so proud.

A Microsoft for Startups founder, he started by enrolling in my Idea2App program.

He took the first exercise in the program and realized that what his developer was about to build was totally different from what he had in mind.

That saved him millions of naira!

By the time he was done with Idea2App, he knew exactly what he needed. In fact, he sent me a message to say something nice about it.

After that, he asked me to bring his app idea to life.

We used the framework he had come up with in Idea2App, the app was delivered, and this was his view about the completed work.

Do you have an app idea?

Be like this Microsoft for Startups founder.

Start from the link in bio.

Someone once accused me of not checking on her dad the last time I was in London.

Apparently, her dad was sick.

Well, I was not aware.

I did not even know her dad was in London.

She later realized that the message had been passed to a namesake and not to me.

She called me two months later on her own to apologize when the truth came to light.

In life, you should not make decisions, judge people, or judge situations based on assumptions.

When you do, you will end up with regret most likely after doing some damage.

The damage can sometimes be to your relationships.

At other times, it is to your bank account.

For example, imagine spending millions of naira to build an app and your target market rejects it, yet you had assumed they were going to love based on your own feelings.

You don't invest money like that based on feelings!

Don't take that kind of decision based on an assumption.

It should be based on real data.

To do that, start by using the link in the comments.

A man grew up seeing his dad buy his mum flowers.

He gets married and does same for his wife.

His wife complains and the man wonders.

"My mum liked flowers so I am giving you flowers.".

But is his mum his wife?

He is taking an assumption-based decision and not a data-driven decision.

How does he switch to the latter?

By asking his wife what he wants and doing it.

The same applies when you have an app idea.

You believe your target market wants something but again, it is an assumption.

Why not take a data driven decision by asking them before spending so much money?

How you ask?

Why you should bring your app idea to life (Part 1)

1. Solve Real Problems

The best apps are born from real-world frustrations. If your idea can make life easier, faster, or better for people, then it has the potential to gain traction and impact lives.

2. Create New Income Streams

Apps can generate revenue in many ways - subscriptions, ads, in-app purchases, or service fees. Your app could become a sustainable source of income for you.

3. Stay Ahead of the Curve

Every day, someone is building. If you wait too long, you risk seeing your idea launched by someone else. Ex*****on is what sets you apart.

4. Own Your Intellectual Property

Ideas are everywhere, but ownership only comes when you create. Building your app turns your vision into something you control and protect.

5. Build Community & Influence

Apps bring people together. Whether it’s a niche community or a global audience, your app can position you as a leader in your space.

Don’t let your idea stay in your head.

Start today. Build that app.

With Coach Barakat, it is excellence or nothing!

The interesting thing is that this particular client didn't want to hire me at first.

He felt, "she's a married woman with kids so she won't have the time for the job."

So, he went to others.

None of them delivered.

He decided to give me a try and voilà...

In life, don't tell people to hire because you are a woman.

No, don't play the gender card.

Just let your work speak for you.

If you have an app idea, you know who to turn to.

Coach Barakat is tried, tested, and trusted.

Yes, I work in a male-dominated field but I do my work very well.

Send a DM today if you have an app idea.

Your dream of bringing your app idea to life can still be a reality in 2025.
