Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria certificate is the one of the requirements for opening of business/corporate account in Nigeria.

Corporate affairs commission (CAC) for profit-making organisation can either be business name (also known as Enterprise or Venture) or company (Private and Public limited by shares or limited by guarantee or unlimited ), limited partnership/limited liability partnership and for non profit making organisations such as NGO, Foundation, Social clubs, Association, Church etc.

Registration of limited liability company (1 Million Sharecapital) takes 2-5 days= 60k
Registration of business name takes 2-5 days= 25k
Registration of Incorporated trustees (NGO, Association, Church, Mosque, Social club) takes 7-8 weeks = 150k
Annual return filing for business name is 10k per year (Excluding late filing penalty)
Annual return filing for Ltd (1-5 Million share-capital) is 15k per year (Excluding late filing penalty).
Annual return filing for Incorporated trustees is 20k per year (Excluding late filing penalty)
Other post incorporation activities depends on some factors.
Processing of Trademark certificate takes 12-24months =150k
Processing of SCUML certificate takes 2-3 weeks = 70k
