By the time you finish reading this, you should have at least 3 name ideas for your new project.

No excuses. Here’s exactly how:

1. Finish this sentence:
“This exists to help ___ do ___ so they can ___.”
The keywords you just wrote are your naming goldmine.

2. Check what’s already out there:
Search 10 names in your space. What’s overused?What’s missing? The gap you notice is your opportunity. Go for it!

3. Go wide before you go deep honey:
Set a 5-minute timer. Write every word your core idea makes you think of. Focus on quantity over quality for now.

4. Just in case English is not doing it for you, translate your favourite word:
Pop it into Google Translate. Try French, Swahili, Latin, Portuguese. A foreign-language version can feel fresh and ownable.

5. Smash two words together:
Core idea + unexpected noun. Play. Combine. Break rules.

6. Test your top pick(s):
Say it out loud. Google it. Check if the handle or domain is free. Ask one friend what they think it means and don’t give them hints.

That’s how I came up with the name ‘Mali Clutch’ for my new piece today and now you can come up with a name for yours too 😘

Save this so you don’t have to stare at a blank page again.
