*UBERENESS Big ltd is a player in the food and beverages industry. We are into manufacturing of confectioneries with we of our brands like Milquick, Popit, Ginger tea, Tea-pot, Foremost milk etc. We are looking at recruiting the below stated for immediate employment.
1. Procurement Officer:
· Research potential vendors
· Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
· Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
· Track orders and ensure timely delivery
· Review quality of purchased products
· Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
· Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
· Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
· Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
· Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
· Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
· Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
REQUIREMENTS
· Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role
· Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)
· Hands-on experience with purchasing software
· Understanding of supply chain procedures
· Solid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses
· Negotiation skills
· Degree in social sciences or relevant field
2. Health & Safety Officer
To co-ordinate, support and advise the Business on all aspects with regards to Health and Safety. To establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety are adhered to.
Role responsibilities:
· Ensure a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
· Ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are
regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
· Ensure the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and
welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
· Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and
operations.
· Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements
implemented.
· Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported,
safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
· Co-ordinate the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
· Ensure full and accurate health and safety and training records are maintained.
· Establish a full programme of documented health & safety inspections, audits and checks.
· Establish a structured programme of health & safety training throughout the Company.
· Liaise with external health & safety consultants in the provision of training programmes and
health and safety services.
· Manage and devise the agenda for, chair and formulate & distribute minutes for the Health &
Safety Committee meetings.
· Ensure that all agreed action points are completed within deadlines.
· Keep up to date with all aspects of relevant health, safety & welfare at work legislation and
communicate relevant changes to the business.
· Provide regular reports to the Human Resources Manager and Quality Dept.
· Participate in monthly meetings when required to report on relevant health & safety matters.
· Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
Requirements:
· Degree in relevant field.
· At least 3 years recent and relevant experience in a similar role qualified or working towards
accreditation.
· Handling of H&S investigations Experience of formulating, implementing and revising H&S
policies and procedures
