People’s Report Is Not God’s Report

Fadekemi sat alone in her room, crying😂.
“Oh Lord, I am not wanted. I talk too much, I gossip too much.
My friends say I will never change.
Can a leopard change its spots?”
Just then, her sister Sisi called her name.
“Fadekemi, what’s wrong?”
Fadekemi quickly wiped her tears. “Nothing.”
Sisi looked at her gently and said,
“I’m not forcing you to tell me, but I care about you.”
Fadekemi sighed deeply.
“My friends said many bad things about me.
They said I am useless and that I can never change,
even though I have given my life to Christ.
They say I talk too much.”
Sisi smiled softly and replied,
“Don’t listen to those voices. Listen to the Holy Spirit.
God knew you even before you were formed.
Don’t ask me how I know—it is already written in His Word, the Bible.
Since you have surrendered your life to Christ,
He can remove every negative voice and make you new.
God’s report is greater than people’s opinions.”
She continued,
“If you truly want to overcome this, there are things you must do:
Do not listen to what people say about you.
Instead, engage in things that will build your life.
Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you.
Read your Bible regularly and let God’s Word dwell in you.
Keep friends who encourage you to grow and change.
Also:
Stop paying attention to negative conversations.
Avoid unnecessary talk and gossip.
Don’t make yourself available for things that are not helpful.
Focus more on God’s truth than on people’s opinions.
Ask God daily to help and strengthen you.”
Fadekemi smiled, her heart feeling lighter.
“Thank you very much, Ma. I feel different now.
I will put all of this into practice.” 🌈💖🌟😊👍💕
