Every business in the digital sphere is concerned about their audience. And for good reasons too.

Without an audience, your social media tactics will be more like an echo chamber where you’re speaking to yourself. So it makes sense to go all out to build an audience, employing varying tactics at your disposal.

Yet for many brands, it gets to a point where having a lot of audience seems to stop working, and the engagements begin to decline.

And that is when panic sets in.

In reality, any follower you have on Facebook, IG or Twitter isn’t owned by you. You’re borrowing them from these platforms instead.

A rented audience is one where you constantly have to do something to win their attention. But when you own them, they willingly pay attention.

You only own your followers when you’ve succeeded in personally transferring them to a platform that is yours, e.g a website, blog, Newsletter, or Community.

So, starting next week Friday, we will be debuting something uniquely Nigerian - our own Expoze Jollof Playlists.

Jollof Playlist gives you the most played and sizzling hot Naija music across multiple platforms on one charts. While music taste can be subjective, our playlist is wholly objective as we use streaming data during the week to come up with the playlists.

And there’s a catch - all songs on the playlists tally up to 50 minutes.

Why 50 minutes?

Because that’s how long it takes to cook a wholesome and tasty Naija Jollof Rice.
