HCDC is URGENTLY recruiting for the position of an IT VAS Manager.

The candidate will coordinate, schedule and follow up on all main actions linked to the VAS platform;
He/she must be able to analyse periodically all events on the network, in order to establish corrective actions and ensure safety of data and access to the platform

Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Electronic Engineering/ Technology related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in VAS solutions.
• Familiar with VAS equipment’s and platform (exposure to the single-wire gateway an added advantage)
• Familiar with telecommunication technology architecture
• Working knowledge of Microsoft IIS and ASP.NET; Web/ Internet content filtering.

The candidate will work with the MD to structure and guide the Business development and marketing strategy, acquisitions and planning. He/she will be working very closely with the marketing, DATA & VAS teams with the Telcos.

In addition, he/she will facilitate territory specific Media Production, Packaging & scheduling for the ATL & BTL marketing activities, Social media Campaigns including revenue generation by Ad sales, sponsorships and 3RD Party deals.

Minimum Requirements:
• First Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/ Software / Electrical / Electronic Engineering and any related discipline.
• 3+ years in the digital services department of Telecom industry, Internet Company or VAS service provider.
• Experienced in VAS operation or promotion, good understanding of software product and industry End-to-end service operation process understanding.
• Result-orientated, passionate and a team player.
• Global business management experience is preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Do you remember January 1st, when we said Happy New Year, made New Year resolutions and grand plans for the year? Well, we are in July!!! A number of people are still on track, some are behind schedule while a large percentage have derailed completely! However, those who are still on track aren’t there because they are super human. The difference is that they have learnt to focus on issues within their span of control and make contingency plans for those outside.
