HOW IT STARTED
Helping Hands International is an organization that was born out of care, passion, and concern for the less privileged. It is a story of a little girl whose parents were unable to cater for and give the good things of life.
As a little girl, Luzviminda suffered a lot and had to struggle for herself to survive. During this time she made a commitment in her heart that if God will help her become somebody in life she will never neglect the less privileged.
One day as she was hawking potatoes around the street in Philippines she met an American man who came to do biz in Philippines. And this American asked her, little girl why are you not in School? and she replied that she was not in school because her parents were too poor to put her in school.
So, the American asked if he can meet her parents. When they met, he demanded from them to let him take their daughter with him to American and they obliged. That was how the American adopted little Luzviminda, took her to America and put her in School.
She grew up in America and started working. After working in American for many years she now taught to herself that it was time for her to fulfill her childhood dream. That was how she left America and went back to her home Country, Philippines. On getting back to Philippines she started a Non Governmental Charity Organisation called HELPING HANDS. Her Organisation started by adopting out of school indigent children and orphans. The Organisation caters for them and put them in school. She started to give humanitarian support to widows, handicapped and all categories of less privileged person. In the course of doing this she met with a Doctor, Dr Romiel Policarpio, who also run an NGO that focuses on supporting the aged and elderly people . The now thought that since they have a similar vision, that it will be good for them to collaborate together and create a bigger organization so that they can be able to reach out to and help more people. That was how these two guys joined their resources together and changed the name of the organization from just HELPING HANDS to HELPING HAND INT’L because by this time they have conceived a bigger Vision of working beyond the borders of their country through partnership with individuals and corporate organizations so, that was how Helping Hands Int’l Network Business began.
As the organization started getting bigger, it extends its activities from Philippines to Japan, from Japan it extends to Cambodia and Pakistan, and to India. And that was how they gradually cover most countries in Asia and the middle east.
However, Helping Hands International get to Africa by what could be described as a luck because African was not part of the original plan of the organization. Sometimes in year 2013, Dr Ramiel Policarpio came to attend a Medical Conference in Abuja. It was at that Medical Conference he met a Nigerian Doctor, Dr. Ejiro Timothy and they became friends. It was in the course of their conversations that Dr. Ejiro gets to know about the activities of H2i in Asia. So Dr, Ejiro said to his friend that since their organization is about Helping poor people, that there are many poor people in Nigeria that can also benefit from their organization. And he requested that their organization should extend its activities to Nigeria. So the organization wrote a proposal to the federal government of Nigeria and proposal was granted. H2i came to Nigeria and was officially launched in Nigeria on December 3rd year 2013. And the Head Office was situated at Block 26A President Goodluck Jonathan Estate, Isheri, Lagos, Nigeria.

OUR SERVICES
The services of H2i are targeted towards two categories of people as it is encapsulated in our vision.
Firstly, it is to the needy and the less privileged in the society. Secondly, it is to the members/partners of the organization.
1.HUMANITARIAN SERVICES As a Charity organization, H2i provides humanitarian services to the needy and the less privileged in the society. These included the orphans, the widows, the handicapped, the refused and just anybody from a very poor background who is in dire need of help. Such people could be recommended for help by members of H2i. So, H2i gives humanitarian aids to this categories of people through the recommendation of its members in the country.
2.SKILL ACQUISITION SERVICES: H2i believes that the man that is taught to catch his own fish is more powerful than the man that is given fish. So as a member of Helping Hands Int’l you are not only given fish, you are also taught how to catch your own fish through the various free skill acquisition training program. As a stages 3 member, you are required to choose any skill/ trade you are interested in learning from the list of courses offered.
3.ASSET AND PROPERTY SUPPORT SERVICES :
With this support service members can enjoy the opportunity of acquiring assets and property of their choice (up to and $12,000) with less difficulty. You contribute 30% of the total cost and H2i help with the balance of 70% which must be paid up within 12 months. An MoU of repayment plan must be signed and agreement strictly adhere to. Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly repayment plan is allowed. This service is only available to members on stage 4 and above.
4.INTEREST FREE LOAN: H2i Provides two categories of loan to its members depending on their stage.
a.Business Loan : You are entitled to up to $12,000 loan (on request) to expand your business or start up a new business when you get to stage 4.
b.Project Loan : You are entitled to up to $ 44,000 Loan (on request) when you get to stage 5. These loans must be fully paid up in 12 Months depending on the MoU reached. Weekly, Monthly or Quarterly repayment plan is allowed.
5.SCHOLARSHIP AWARD SERVICES:
H2i believes education is the best legacy anyone can give to his children or any child around him. Therefore, H2i supports your children education as a member and give scholarship awards to orphans and the less privileged in our society.
