Access to quality healthcare should be available to everyone. Yet, for many communities, essential health services remain out of reach, leaving conditions undetected and preventable illnesses unmanaged.
On April 8, 2026, a meaningful step was taken to change that narrative.
The Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research .i.f.o.r facilitated by , the Distinguished Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District, hosted a free medical outreach at the Evbotubu Primary Health Centre in Egor Local Government Area, Benin City. The outreach, themed “Building Awareness Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse,” was executed by HIGC Health Consultants.
The outreach delivered a comprehensive range of services to the community, including advocacy on drug and alcohol abuse prevention, physical examinations, BMI and blood pressure checks, malaria and blood sugar testing, eye testing, visual acuity assessment, ophthalmoscopy, consultations with medical doctors and optometrists, distribution of reading glasses and eye drops, and medications for conditions such as malaria, upper respiratory tract infections, gastroenteritis, hypertension, diabetes, arthritis, ulcers, and asthma.
Here at HIGC Health Consultants, executing this initiative reflects our strong commitment to ensuring that quality healthcare reaches every community, especially those most in need.
This outreach reinforces our dedication to bridging the gap between underserved communities and essential health services.
When quality healthcare reaches the people, lives are transformed, communities are strengthened, and hope is restored. This is the impact we remain committed to delivering, today and always.
