Day 1 at Nithub Innovation Fair 2026 is officially underway!

Technology is bridging the gap in many areas, and BuyScrap is using that to solve the electronic waste management issues in Nigeria. We will officially be exhibiting at the NITHUB Innovation Fair 2026, happening July 29th - 31st, 2026, at the University of Lagos Multipurpose Hall.

We still get asked a lot: What exactly is e-waste?

Simply put, e-waste (electronic waste) is any broken, outdated, or unwanted electronic device. This includes old smartphones, dead laptops, TVs, cables, and even old home appliances.

Many still believe old electronics are just useless trash, but the reality is they hold immense value.
