National Progression

We can progress and grow irrespective of who is president if our dreams, hopes and aspirations as a nation are well articulated, written down and implemented in progression.

If power generation becomes a matter for political relevance and votes acquisition, if petrol, crude oil, refineries becomes a matter of "i can do it"...where were you when people are suffering?

If road construction is a matter for campaign...whats govt for?

Our Democratic structures must be reviewed. The offices/persons cannot be sustained. They are too many, expensive and wasteful. to keep them...we do so at great peril to the nation.

if you are benefiting and you think its okay, fine. The unemployment and agitations, unrests and commotions are just rearing.

States and federal? NASS and Reps?s......the burden is huge.
Add pesions and allowances/salaries
Nothing is left for meaningful development.

At this rate, on this course...all national earning will not be enough for salaries a few years from now.

Recession....? maybe just a begining of "good" things to come.

Changed we are

Its either we are in traffic in the cities or on the highways
If we are not in queues at banks, petrol stations, then we are busy fixing our generators and falling out with the mechanics. If the cars are not damaged by bad roads, the the guys in China who delight in selling us fakes, are smilling to the banks with our hard earned bucks.

Its either we in are church praying, in hold ups sweating, in filling stations fighting over fuel or trying to out smart one another one way or the other.

With everyone at the MERCY of almighty PHCN, Production is out. What can you produce anyway?

It takes 3months to prepare the budget
It takes 3 months to pass it
It takes 3 months to award contracts
It takes the last 3 months to prepare the next budget that will be passed after the first 3 months of the next year

Doing same thing over and over and expecting different result is...

Shame to Fame Grabbers

They don't lift a finger
They scheme, fleece and cheat
The aid and abet corruption
They launder, round trip, over charge, cut and steal
Now they want to identify?
Who have they helped? What have they done?
Would they have funded her to start a bakery?
Shame to those who reap where they sow not.
They under employ, under pay and over work
Shame !

Waiting for Change

By now fixed charges by PHCN/NERC should have been stopped.
DSTV continues to rip Nigerian

The banks are crammed daily as job for five is done by one and paid for half.

Forms for JAMB, NECO, GCE are on sale throughout the year.

The Federal government is either indifferent or lost on what to do.

We wait for change as promised,

We await change.

Nigerian Banks are Wicked and Corrupt

Under staffed, over banked with excess funds, Nigerian Banks are centres where looted funds are kept by looters, thieves and robbers of the state.
The number of Nigerians trapped in banks daily cuts down national productivity. From banks to traffic gridlocks in Lagos and other commercial cities, there is no production, so we import, import and import.
We call on the federal and state governments to withdraw their monies from commercial and lodge them with CBN or establish state owned banks.
No bank has a low cost housing estate for citizens? They invest our money abroad and declare profits-from this unemployment choked, unproductive populace? If not for corruption, from where and how cometh these profits in billions every year?

Prayer for Buhari in Power

Almighty creator of the universe, you created man and gave him power to dominate and subdue the earth. It has pleased you to assemble a people known as Nigerians on a particular spot on earth. A country you endowed with enormous natural resources; notwithstanding, Nigerians have continued to suffer.
As Achebe said, Nigerians are what they are because the leaders are not what they should be. Please, let Buhari be different. Make him the change agent Nigerians seek.
After years of attempts and efforts by the elected to make Nigeria a great place to live in and not just a place for capitalist opportunists to exploit and pillage, the people have unanimously elected your son Presdident Muhammadu Buhari, PMB, to lead them from darkness to light, seeing there is no promised land but a blessed land to cultivate, tend, develop, build and transform to the delight of your children.
I implore you to give PMB wisdom, knowledge and the ability to separate truth from falsehood, the genuine from the fake, general good from selfish/personal interests.
Keep away from him deceivers and charlatans. May praise singers, political jobbers and contractors have no access to him. Religious jingoists, traders and false prophets fence him from. Confusionists and greedy political associates keep at bay that he may concentrate on addressing the challenges that have kept Nigeria stagnated from growth and development.
The country Nigeria is a great country. Several factors have kept her from attaining her full potentials. May this government, led by PMB open channels, device strategies, formulate policies and bring about that change which your children have long yearned for.
I commit President Mohammadu Buhari and all who may work with him into your care. Guide and protect them. Let them not be distracted. May they remain continually focused on national development in the interest of the people.
Grant this humble prayer Almighty father, to the glory of your name, to our happiness, joy and well being.
Amen.

Regulators Asleep

As Nigerians continue to groan under charges by various service providers, regulatory agencies are either asleep or blinded by corruption; leaving the people to their faith.
From the bank to telecoms to electricity, nigerians are paying for service not rendered. Satelite TV providers are ripping the people too. Who will save the people from the fierceness of these predators?
