SHORT STORY
The story is told in the bible about a paralytic and his friends.

The man and his friends were attracted by the Messiah's confidence and value; Jesus who had raised the dead and performed many miracles.

PERCEIVED VALUE = THE PRICE I AM WILLING TO PAY
The friends of the paralytic were willing to pay any price including removing and fixing the roof of a house just to get that value :healing.
