Did You Know?
The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends zero sedentary screen time for children under 1 year old. For toddlers and preschoolers (ages 1â4), screen time should be very limited â ideally no more than 1 hour per day, and less is always better.
Why it matters: Early childhood is a critical period for brain development, language skills, and physical growth. Excessive screen time can negatively affect sleep, attention, and social interaction, so prioritizing play, reading, and active movement is far more beneficial.
