Our Technical School
Peter Morennics Technical and Vocational School is a technical secondary school that focuses on trade and conventional subjects, we take both seriously, this makes our students fit in conventional universities and university of technology. We use Federal Ministry of Education, Basic Education Curriculum, Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) curriculum to teach our students.
Our students in preparation classes (JSS1-3) will be introduced to all the trades in the school theoretically, so they must have picked interest in one of the trades before they are promoted into year 1 (SSS 1) where they will be allowed to register for one trade in the school and will be trained on the trade from year 1 to year 3.
What we do to year 1 students
In Peter Morennics Technical and Vocational Secondary School, our year one students must register for all sciences, commercial and art subjects, this will allow students and school to know where each student will be able to cope easily in year two.
We use this method to decide area of concentration for students in year 2 (SSS 2)
Examination
In Preparatory class, students register for BECE and NECO.
Our year 3 students register for WAEC and NABTEB examinations.
We encourage our students to register for modular trade examination.
