Ask yourself this question… where am I in the body of Jehovah? I don’t mean in the body of Christ which is Christendom as a whole but the actual body of Jehovah God.

1 Some people are in his palms

2 Some people are at his feet

3 Some people are in His eyes

Focus Text: Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
After reading this scripture it suggests to me that the present day business person’s night toil has a longer looking time frame than the all night time frame mentioned, we might have toiled 8am-5pm, 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days but there is no income to show for it. NO SALES NO PROFIT. However Simon said something significant “But because you say so…” I will let out down the net and of course the story changed from nothing to abundance. If we back up a little bit in that scripture we would see that Simon had already received revelations, instructions, teachings from Jesus, he had given his boat to be used for ministration so he had been impacted by the word already so when there was an instruction that will move his business forward that was directly spoken to him he only stated his limitations and then he acted on the word. The foundation of success in business is constant study and hearing of God’s word. Bible said study to show yourself approved go to church read the bible and when ONE word comes from Jesus that will change your business you will immediately seize it because you had given and applied your heart to God word from the beginning.

10 As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Our text today tells us that we have received a gift from God. It is that gift that we have that our clients are paying to assess. Even if you don’t have a business yet there is something in you that when harnessed will fetch you income. However can we also use this gift to serve your friends, family, neighbours and even your local church? If you are a Mason have you helped repair a portion of your church building that needs it, if you are painter you should volunteer to paint the children church. There are many ways to serve your local church even as an electrician, accountant, traffic personnel, security, cook etc.
Walk up to your ministers tell them what you do and offer to bring in this as a gift and “God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen”

Focus Text: Deuteronomy Chapter 8 verse 18
“But Remember the Lord your God for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirm His covenant, which he swore to your ancestors as it is today.”
Remembering in this verse does not mean that you as a business person “forgot” God. It means His DEEDS, the deeds of God in your business has to be remembered. Remember those times you thought customs will seize your legitimate goods, when fire almost gutted your business premises when you almost fell into the hands of swindlers etc but God stepped in. this verse tells us that all the past wealth success stories we got it from God. In remembering God we should look back at how He gave us the ability to conceive, birth and grow our business. The moment you have a Godly business know automatically that it is wealth and covenant has been fulfilled.

Focus Text: Genesis Chapter 1 verse 1-31
This chapter is the first activity recorded of what Jehovah God did. This is where HE set about His business. This chapter book is the foundation of what every other book and even the world as we know it originated from. For us business people there is a start point. This is not the time we conceived the idea but when we actually set in motion activities that will lead/led to the beginning of our earthly business here on earth. It might have been as small as selling your first pure water bags or as large as setting up a factory. Whatever the activity let us see a few things God did and that is worthy of us to emulate:
Structure: HE immediately put structures in place, Land, heaven, Night, Day HE separated all and put a system in place to work EFFECTIVELY.
Responsibility-God made two big lights the bigger one to take care of the day and the smaller one to take care of the night. HE set about giving everybody a responsibility. Set out with making people responsible. Don’t give positions without making sure people are responsible for it, and a documented contract will work fine. To this day, day and night still do their job perfectly! HE also made man as his managers to always be responsible for all HE has created. Create a sense of responsibility so there is orderliness.
Empower: When HE created every system HE didn’t place a restriction on activity HE immediately set his “employees” to work and said be fruitful. In essence HE was saying achieve results, I am not going to stop you just have result. When you empower your staff they have no choice but to produce results and more results will also follow.
Positive Confession-God did not wait for anyone’s endorsement, HE himself called his business a good one, name your products, company name, and employees… name them good just as Jehovah God did!

Philippians 3:13-14 NIV Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. As small Business Owners we should look forward to the future forgetting those pasts’ denials. Where it has been said no to you, doesn’t mean the next door will also be shut. As long you have not taken hold of the desired profit margin, contract document, and successful loan application press forward to the goal and win that Business for your Business!
