What a remarkable day this was.

Passing The Torch brought together people from different generations, backgrounds, and experiences, united by a shared belief in the power of leadership, mentorship, and nation-building.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who made the day what it was.

It was truly a moment worth remembering

It’s today.

After weeks of planning, preparation, conversations, prayers, and anticipation, Passing The Torch is finally here.

And more than anything, I feel grateful.

Grateful for the vision.
Grateful for the people.
Grateful for everyone who believed in this conversation enough to support it, speak about it, and show up for it.

I’m looking forward to the conversations, the connections, and the moments that will stay with us long after today.

If you are unable to join us physically, you can follow the event live on YouTube. Check the link in my bio.

Last Saturday on TVC Breakfast, I had an interesting conversation on Passing The Torch.

A lot of people think young people are too spontaneous, too impatient, or too careless to lead well. But maybe part of the problem is that many generations have never really learned how to understand each other properly.

That is a big part of why Passing The Torch exists.

And now, we are just a few hours away.

You can watch highlights from the TVC Breakfast conversation here, and catch the full discussion on my YouTube channel.

I want to express my appreciation to our Consumer, Lifestyle, and Community Partners who have supported Passing The Torch in a very special way.

To Pernod Ricard Nigeria, Mouka, Dolidol, BEST, Amstel Malta, Coca-Cola, Smirnoff Ice — thank you for believing in this vision.

You have helped us shape not just an event, but an experience, one that brings people together, creates warmth, and makes space for connection beyond the conversations on stage.

Your support reminds me that impact is not only in ideas, but also in how people feel, engage, and connect in the moments we create.

Tomorrow is the day.

And honestly, it still feels surreal seeing something that started as a thought, a burden, and a vision become a reality.

Passing The Torch has never just been about hosting an event. It has always been about creating a space where generations can learn from one another, where leadership is discussed with honesty, and where mentorship is seen as a responsibility, not just a concept.

I’m deeply grateful for everyone who has supported this vision, believed in it, and decided to be part of the journey.

In less than 24 hours, the room comes alive.

As we draw closer to Passing The Torch, I want to sincerely appreciate our Strategic & Institutional Partners who have stood with this vision from a place of belief and responsibility.

To Meristem, Logitech, AIICO Insurance, SIMS Nigeria, The CIO & C-Suite Club — thank you.

Your support reflects something deeper than sponsorship. It reflects alignment with leadership, systems thinking, innovation, and the long-term work of building people and institutions that matter.

These are the kinds of partnerships that remind me that nation building is not done in isolation, it is shaped through collaboration, trust, and shared vision.

I am truly grateful.

Grateful to see the conversation around Passing The Torch reaching more people.

Thank you to for spotlighting the vision behind this event and the importance of bridging the intergenerational gap through mentorship, leadership, and intentional conversations.

This has always been bigger than an event. It is about creating stronger connections between generations, making wisdom more accessible, and ensuring that experience is not lost but passed on intentionally.

We are 2 days away from Passing The Torch, and honestly, I can’t even fully explain how I feel right now.

What started as an idea, a burden, and a series of conversations is now almost here.

I truly cannot wait for the room, the conversations, the people, and the moments we’re about to experience together.

Another year.

Another reminder that life doesn’t always follow the exact shape of our plans, but somehow still forms us in ways we later learn to respect deeply.

I’m grateful to God for life, for grace, and for His strength that has carried me through every season so far.

Looking back, I don’t just see milestones. I see lessons. I see growth. I see timing that made sense only in hindsight, and moments that refined my understanding of leadership, people, and purpose.

Today, I am simply grateful for how far I’ve come, and for the road still ahead.

Happy birthday to me.
