I was recently at a friend's place to see his small but lovely structure. It reminded me of the story of how long it took my Dad to build his first house.
My friend didn't take much time to build his first house but my Dad did.

***Both of them had different perspective about owning the first property***.

My friend believed that starting small isn't a bad idea. So he got about a half plot and through effective management, he erected 3 bedroom bungalow. This house has all you can think of in a house except for a big compound. He lives happily with his family.

My Dad had put up a plan of a big house and as at the time he started building his house it was the biggest in the area but it took a very long while before he could move into the house. Many more beautiful houses had come up before he moved in.
