Who is Sheikh Ādam?
Sheikh Adam Abdullah Al-Ilory (1917-1992) was a Benin-Nigerian Islamic scholar. He was born into the family of Abdul Baqi al-Ilory in a prominent house (Ara-oyo comp.), who was the son of Abdullah.
Sheikh Adam Abdullah Al-Ilory was born in 1917 (Wasa) and Died on 3 May 1992, He was popularly known as Al-iloory before and after his death, within and outside the country, in tracing back to his background (Ilorin Kwara state).
He was a renowned Islamic scholar of international recognition. He was a distinguished Muslim scholar who contributed immensely to the promotion of Islam and the Nation.
He is a Prominent Scholar, philosopher, an Orator, an extremist, an Encyclopedia, an Author, a Jurist, a messenger, a world and a quick-witted Man of no counterpart.
He has a lot of Achievements which are numerous,Some of them include:
* Creation of "Markhaz Center for Arabic Language Learning"
* The contribution to the Advent of "Daarul uloom li jabhatu l ulamāhi wa l ahimmah" Isalekoto Ilorin Kwara state.
* First of his kind to introduce a formal Arabic Education system in the Southwest Nigeria.
* Al-'īdul ar bahūn (Markhaz Center, 40 years old, 1985)

His history and achievement has given great lessons to the individual and the masses politically, Educationally, Socially, morally, Phsycologically, Scientifically.... Indeed he's a Role Model.
