*The Making of the GREATEST POLITICAL DISTRUPTION*
(Pt3 Hubris & tu tu ga ga)

Peter Obi political ideology have shaken the Nigerian establishment and have become a people's bastion of hope.

A lot of politicians and structure have been exposed. Lagos State residents have shown that a people cannot be ignored, intimated all the time. The election was a pay back time cause Governor Sanwo-Olu disrespectfully didn't attend debates, afterall the strutures (thugs, violence, voter suppression and money) will all work for his reelection.
The people didn't matter then, afterall they could be paid for their votes or suppressed not to vote. Governor Sanwo Olu haven't had a good sleep since his godfather lost Lagos to Peter Obi's Labour Party.

The Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello had to excavate roads leading to Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghans village so as to suppress votes from her area. He used terror threats as excuse.
He has the structure to bully a whole village.
A lot of lessons learnt, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Simon Lalong and a lot of politicians with structure lost because the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) uploaded most National Assembly election results to the INEC IReV.

The Rivers State emperor Nyesom Wike upon all his tu tu ga ga have exposed to the world that it didn't dey. It took him over 72 hours to complete the kidnap of his people's mandate. Benevolent election riggers don't rig where they are unpopular, the just steal 25% votes but Wike bullishly had to go on overdrive. Like the late Sound Sultan said one day bush meat go catch the hunter, 2023 seems to be the year.

The hubris of Mahmod Yakubu and the unelected President select Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will haunt them beyond 2023. Isn't it suspicious Mahmod's INEC now deletes pre election related tweets, videos, letters from INEC Official twitter handle.
The APC INEC game plan:
Sabotage IReV,
Collate manually,
Announce a winner,
Let them go to court.

Just like all others with structure, Atiku's even with his tu tu ga ga, he couldn't unify his party, unify his previous supporters, its Nigeria he wants to unify.
Elections have come and gone and no one talks about Atiku anymore.
Obi is who the people now listen to, they renew their strength, gain hope and inspiration but Atiku is yet to wake up and smell the coffee.
He said Obi stole his SE and SS votes he was trying to unify. "Lessons will still be learnt"

This disruption have made Sanwo-Olu come down from his high horse, el Rufai have become meek temporarily, Simon Lalong, Okezie Ikpeazu stunned, the Obi effect have unsettled the Governor of Anambra State Prof Charles Soludo. His APGA structures needs reinforcements to avoid collapse.

Peter Obi has the Midas touch, his verifiable message of self example have inspired millions of Nigerians.
His press conference was watched/streamed by more Nigerians than Bola Tinubu acceptance speech and the presentation of return certificate by APC INEC.

Peter Obi have given Nigerians a flashdance, eveything just relives the lyrics of Irene Cara flashdance - what a feeling

_First, when there's nothing
_But a slow glowing dream
_That your fear seems to hide
_Deep inside your mind

_All alone, I have cried
_Silent tears full of pride
_In a world made of steel
_Made of stone

_What a feeling
_Being's believin'
_I can have it all, now I'm dancing for my life

The song is 40 years now, released in 1983, same year President Muhammadu Buhari toppled our second Republic.

Obi have inspired Nigerians to start believing.
Yeah to start believing
a NEW NIGERIA IS POssible.

5G and Covid-19 Conspiracy theory

Conspiracy theories are mostly driven by beliefs that powerful people have worked together to withhold the truth about some important practice or some terrible events. A recent example is the belief, widespread in some parts of the world, that the attacks of 9/11 were carried out not by Al Qaeda, but by Israel or the United States.

The 5G Conspiracy

As the spread of the coronavirus proves difficult to contain and control, so is the misinformation surrounding it. One of the most recent, baseless conspiracy theories surrounding the virus is that 5G networks — the next generation of wireless technology that’s steadily being rolled out around the world — are fueling the global coronavirus pandemic. They are not.

Unfounded claims about a supposed link between 5G and COVID-19 began circulating on the internet.

In the United Kingdom, there are concerns that recent attacks on cell phone towers were motivated by false conspiracy theories. Meanwhile, Pastor Chris Oyakilome has been able to influence a lot of people by spreading such claims to millions of his followers.

There’s no evidence to support the theory that 5G networks causes COVID-19 or contribute to its spread, there are several theories linking 5G and COVID-19. One simply suggests that 5G networks cause COVID-19 or symptoms of the infection. Another more insidious one is that 5G networks emit radiation that weakens the immune system, making people more susceptible to infection.

What Is 5G

5G is a next-generation wireless network that is expected to enable a wave of technologies that will change the way that people live and work, the potential applications include self-driving cars, remote surgeries, and automated factories, though it will be a while before we see those kinds of changes. These benefits and innovations are very key to the development of a society and therefore should be welcomed with open arms.

How Does 5G Differ From 4G

The big differences between 4G and 5G are faster speeds, higher bandwidth and lower lag time in communications between devices and servers.

5G signals run over new radio frequencies, which require updating radios and other equipment on cell towers. Carriers building superfast 5G networks have to install tons of small cell sites to light poles, walls or towers, often in close proximity to each other. So far, the networks have mostly been deployed city by city.

Linking 5G And COVID-19

5G networks began rolling out in cities and countries in 2018 but were more widely adopted in 2019 – the same year that Wuhan, China, saw the world’s first coronavirus outbreak.

Conspiracy theorists were quick to link the two, ignoring the ever-relevant adage: Correlation does not imply causation.

People on the internet shared two maps of the United States suggesting areas that had been hit hardest by COVID-19 were also places where 5G networks had been installed.

Another thing those areas have in common? They’re metropolitan areas: large population centers that are more vulnerable to the spread of the coronavirus and are more likely to adopt 5G networks earlier.

There are other reasons those suggestions don’t hold up. Although Iran has not rolled out 5G, it’s one of the countries hardest hit by the pandemic.

Upgrades to wireless infrastructure have been falsely linked to diseases before, and the same has happened this time around with the coronavirus.

Many of the 5G/COVID-19 conspiracy theories are linked to groups that have long claimed that wireless airwaves cause cancer, though there is no credible evidence to support this. Even in Nigeria, we are made to believe that living near a base station is suicidal.

Research shows that radiofrequency (RF) waves given off by cell phones do not have enough energy to damage DNA directly or heat body tissues — their energy levels are lower even than technologies such as microwave ovens and televisions. What’s more, signals are actually worse at penetrating objects than 4G signals, which is why 5G networks require many more, smaller cell sites built close together.

Like the previous generations of wireless network technology (4G, 3G, and 2G), 5G mobile data is transmitted over radio waves. Other types of technology that use radio waves include smart meters, TV and radio transmitters, and radar and satellite communications. Most modern medical laboratory equipment uses radio waves, some use nuclear radiation, but they are used within the guidelines.

It is also important to note that every medication has a recommended dosage. This is basically the same principle on which radio waves operate. There are acceptable safe limits, which are determined and regulated by International Technology Regulatory bodies.

Ignorance has played a great role in this baseless conspiracy theory.

There are no 5G networks at all in Iran, yet this country has been severely affected by COVID-19. Was there 5G or a conspiracy theory behind the Spanish Flu that decimated the world population between 1918 and 1920 and killed over 50 million people worldwide including 500,000 Nigerians?

Lastly there other conspiracy theories that have come up from COVID-19 as the 5G theory

• The Illuminati theory

• The Bill Gate theory

• Bio Weapon theory

• Movie and Novel predictions

However, it’s our duty to dispel all these imaginations created by distractors. COVID-19 is real. Let’s abide by all the WHO has advised. The number of new infections are increasing geometrically; the death toll is also becoming unbearable.

Let’s inform and educate everyone.

*The Unplanted Seed*
28/11/2018

The catcus grows in hot, arid areas,
acacia too loves drained soil.
But the palms are coastal.
Even the mustard must be planted to grow.

The soil is the brain,
Do you plant on quick sand?
the brain creates,
It retains memories,
It feels emotions
The soil creates and feels emotions too.
You don't plant a palm seed in the desert.

Knowledge is power,
but the knowledge of horse and carriage will serve best as bed time stories.
then the Almajiri system!
Oops!
Why do we build more cathedrals and mosques?
Classrooms have leaky roofs with no teachers.

What seed was planted that has failed to germinate?

Humans roam the streets, you gleefully call them almajiris.
Unplanted seeds that's neither eaten nor stored, left to rot.

Humans!
A product of nature and nurture.
Ours is fractured

From a height,
an inclined plane
the base has been debased
a deep plunge
a decline
now at the valley
we can harvest
the wild growing
Lily of the valley

It's poisonous
but beautiful

Our ecosystem is artificial
Our cycle of life political

the lily of valley is beneficial for votes
but dangerous for growth

Planting apples at my backyard
Laughs!
Dumb!! Very dumb!!!

I will eat my seed yam and plant apples.

*ONE Man! (Examplary and Inspirational Leadership) by Ugo Ibeanu*

Big Sean in his song One man can change the world explicitly reaffirmed the philosophy of one man.
Through the ages, through the stages of civilisation, there has always been one inspirational leader, one examplary change agent.

People have a void that's it's only inspirational leaders can fill be it a General, Teacher, Priest, King et al.
Starvation may cause death, but loss of hope kills faster.

There are lots of school of thought designed by great leaders, Gandhi and Martin Luther King (MLK) weaponized the non violence philosophy of resistance. They endeared themselves to millions, they didnt lead from behind. Their names resonates, etched in the minds of millions and generations to come. Gandhi and MLK had lots of followers and sympathisers, gaining more geometrically beacuse they were uncompromising, this overwhelmed their oppressors.

Followership is a lot easier than Leadership. I get baffled when some Nigerians blame citizens for lack of purposeful leadership. We hear people say we deserve the kind of leaders we get. This isn't only insenstitive but nauseating.
For example, a Principal of a secondary school decided in a meeting with other teachers that any student caught doing exam malpractice will be expelled from the school. Over the years, some students have been caught and expelled, then one day a report came that three students indulged in exam malpractice, lo and behold the Principal's son was among. This becomes a great test.
Ideally the Principal's child and the other two should be expelled. This will send a strong signal to other teachers and students that there are no sacred cows. Parents of previously expelled students who keep begging for the readmission of their kids will know the principal is an upright man with integrity, he has made a strong statement too. They will no doubt cease to plead for their own kids.
On the flipside, he may decide to spare all three students or just his own son. Whatever is the case, he has given room for factionalization, side talks, disunity and anyhowism. This is a perfect picture of the whistle blowing policy of the Nigerian Federal Government and other happenings in the Nigerian sphere.

One man at any time T, has the greatest responsibility to effect positive change.

The One Man philosophy has been displayed even in football. Theres have been lots of heated argument and debates on who is the greatest between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. I like Lionel Messi more, he is super talented and a great delight to watch. But then! Cristiano Ronaldo is a great leader. He has the charisma and inspires the weak, the wounded and even the fans. Aside football, Cristiano Ronaldo still stands tall cause of his leadership qualities. He trains hardest, runs hardest and fastest, he shows hunger and passion for success, he inspires everyone. Whether he is playing, injured, substituted, he keeps leading. When his team looses, he mourns, he feels the pain greatest. This is One Man! This is leadership.

A lot of us have read about Thomas Sankara! I can boldly state that if Sankara lived in the ancient times, people would have worshipped him as a god. Sankara was everything a people would ever desire. Talking about Sankara makes me teary, the west have a way of killing our best, but lets leave the rest for God to judge.
Sankara remains my One Man!

Humanity relies on the One Man philosophy. Angela Merkel stood for the refugees, she endeared Germany to the world. In admitting over a million refugees and migrants, she must have opened doors to terrorists, religious extremists too. I believe the insinuations of danger posed by a few doesn't out weigh the need of millions seeking refuge.
Let's remember Adolf Hi**er was also One Man! History has taught us about his inhumanity to man. Both Merkel and Hi**er are Germans, the 21st century will remain grateful to Chancellor Angela Merkel who amidst opposition brought succour to millions of people especially Syrians.

People are looking for who to follow, lots of churches spring up daily, what happens after five years boils down to leadership. A pastor who keeps emphasising on tithe will loose lots of afflicted followers. A follower who needs care and support will seek it elsewhere.

The politician who castigates politicians in power just to win and become everything he criticizes will loose followers. In Nigeria. Religion, tribe and personal interests make people align and realign. Capacity, wherewithal is secondary.
Faith is key in both leadership and followership. Men are inclined to trust a man with great vision. A lot of great countries emerged from forced followership to leader inspired fellowership. Communism is forced, the Berlin wall being a good example.
Now back to Nigeria, we are presently experiencing a soulless leadership. Stanley Nwabia, a social critic and activist suddenly passed away in a hospital in Lagos. I strongly believe he would have been living today if he had access to the German hospital and doctors that treated our presidents son when he had a motorbike accident.
There are no examples to follow because our president has "i can't kill myself attitude". The promises and the realities can best be described as amorphous. Unlike Ceaser, once you choose to cross the rubicon with your arms down, you are cleansed and saved.
Today we are talking about Dr Boniface of Unilag who was caught on camera for immoral conduct, we are screaming blue murder. I am not in that bandwagon. I play in a different band. How are we going to react if the VC of Unilag says he doesn't know the kind of technology used to rope in Dr Boniface. Like the principal of the school earlier mentioned, a precedence has been set, the president has set a very bad one. The issue in Kano was suppressed with court injunctions, threats to the whistleblower and firece clampdown on the state house of assembly.
George Orwell was very fair to depict them as pigs.

They say uneasy lies the head that wears the crown. The crown is nothing without the head that bears it, the head of one man. The crown may sink cause its metal, but the thinking leader makes the crown stay afloat, the crown, the leader and the people wouldn't drown.

One Man can truly change the world.

Unique Accents (Stop the shaming)

Ugo Ibeanu

A lot of times people get mocked cos their English accent is local. The people from Cross-River and Akwa-Ibom most times pronounce YUNCTION, YOHNSON when they mean junction, Johnson, the hausa and northern tribes say pilip rather than Philip, pipe when the meant five. The igbo people from Anambra arent left out, ladio (radio), lolly (lorry), also of note is the yoruba people that say ouse, epp when they mean house, help.
All these makes Nigerians laugh at each others english comically other times scornfully.

In Nigeria as same with the world, your accent gives your listener a clue of where you come from (nationality/tribe) or where you have lives mostly. A lot of times Nigerians without local accent rub it on other nigerians. They gleefully express themselves with a pinch of superiority complex, this inadvertently makes the ones with local accent feel inadequate, sometimes unnecessarily wary.

In primary schools, the kid with a different accent becomes a laughing stock if his/her accent is generally seen as inferior. Imagine a kid who was late to school and in defence says its because her dad took his mum for yeck up (check up)!
This child speaks differently from others and most times other kids would laugh and make jest of her. This may dampen the child's self esteem in some cases make her reclusive. One way or the other, we have laughed at the igbo who says he cant find the legister (register) or the hausa man that says the phone is sebenty seben (seventy seven) pieces. Imagine the kid who gets laugh at daily at school, a kid who goes to complain to a teacher that Funke, Ada, Tony and em em em I cant lemember (remember) his name made jest of me and another bout of laughter ensues. I'm trying to imagine this innocent kid.

We have been baited to respect people without local accent or at least what we call igbo, hausa, edo, calabar, yoruba accent more. Subconsciously accent plays a role in our corporate circle unlike the business and market sphere.

People tend to express themselves better when they are free, when they don't care how others feel about their accent.

Growning up in the 80s, I remember watching a british sitcom "MIND YOUR LANGUAGE" they had an Italian, Spaniard, German, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Pakistani, French, Swede and Hungarian aside their English teacher. A comical TV show that gives one a good belly laugh. I still remember how my Dad laughs especially when the Indian and Italian are arguing, the accents are so unique and fun too.

In a nutshell, we should stop making a mockery of how people speak English. Its evidently damaging when people feel inferior about their unique local accent. A lot of people express themselves in English not minding what you make of their accent. Prof. Attahiru Jega the former INEC boss pronounces South Africa as S***e Africa. He pronounces it confidently.

On the flipside, popular Nigerian names like Nkechi and Ekaette becomes tongue twisting words to the British and other Europeans too. I was so amused when the Former President of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo once asked a British child how are you, the kid replied I am fine and Obj went further to ask the next child you nko? Laughs!

We need to confidently express ourselves in our local accent and disregard the shoulder high foreign accent bullies.

It's common knowledge corruption in Nigeria is systemic. It's rife in all sectors, regions, religion and arms of government. We have all been a beneficiary or victim of corrupt practices at sometime.

There is a laissez affair anti corruption campaign which I have chosen to call loot recovery campaign.

Let me quickly create a picture of a secondary school Principal who is a disciplinarian and yet shows favoritism. He promotes some students who fails promotion exam and also punishes students differently for same offence. He will definitely loose credibility for lack of integrity.

Sometimes it seems all animal are equal but some are more equal than the others.

Favouritism is endemic.

On the other hand, the corruption in police, educational system, judiciary, the labour unions is still palpable.

Our institutions are weak and needs strengthening. Government interference is evident.

In our society the gains of corruption out weighs the penalty when one is caught.

Let there be no untouchables.

Let merit be applauded.
