30/12/2023

If there's anything 2023 taught me, it's never to say it is over until the final whistle is blown, never leave the pitch if it isn't full time, and never write off the script if you haven't seen the end. Twelve months make a year, not nine months, not eleven and a half; twelve months do.

I remember stating "one word for me in 2023 is discernment" at the beginning of the year on my Instagram page and one thing we may likely forget is that consciousness of timing or lack of it plays a big part with discerning.

The discernment we receive/observe/ignore is tied to our consciousness of timing or lack of it. Imagine, an Angel of the Lord appeared to Peter in a vision to eat but he said NO! Peter sees an anomaly and uncleanliness while the Lord sees acceptance/fellowship.

This scriptural account of Apostle Peter's scenerio may not always be a general rule of thumb based on (your faith and peculiarity) timing/conscious positioning in Christ especially if you still dread hearing someone ate in their dream. (Story for another day).

Beyond the presents, who is the giver?

In contrast, imagine after Jesus had fasted for 40days & 40 nights, the first account on record was Satan appearing to the Son of Man, asking him to turn stone to bread so he may break his fast.

Logically, one could term this as compassion from Satan, but hey, it was wrapped with temptation. Yes, I agree it was laced with supporting scriptures, but how can we forget it was presented by the grandmaster of lies on three different attempts!

However, Jesus prevailed with discernment because he could see-through the fabric of "compassion" which abhors/hates/rejects truth and life, an offer of deceit at its peak.

I ask again, beyond the presents, ask yourself, who is the giver?

Say yes to discernment but never close your eyes to ignore the spiritual giver.

So, may the lens of our discernment be continually illuminated by God's fellowship with precision in the coming year.

In all, (y)our discernment should bring us to a place of total acceptance (YES) or a place of unashamed resistance (NO).

Thank you for 2023. 🎉🎉

See you in 2024. ✌🏾✌🏾

I am rooting for you. 🥇

What if I told you not to swipe? Well, we begin this November.

Welcome to a new month, where the newness carries the promise of grace and new beginnings, just like the verses of a gospel hymn that fill our hearts with hope and faith.

A new month where you walk in faith, share kindness, and let the love of the Lord shine through your actions.

May this be your experience in November.

It still feels unbelievable but can you do what I'm about to ask?

This post is dedicated to an amazing man who lived a life of impact. The man, Ubong King.

A business king who lives on. See what I want you to do. I believe you can do it.

Go on YouTube, type "Ubong King" in the search bar and watch at least a video on his Youtube channel.

If YouTube is too much/consuming, stay right here on Instagram and check out his page to view his Business teachings.

It's the least I could do to honour this man of influence who has had an impact on me with his rich and practical tips.

I remember sending him a DM on 8th April 2019 after he made a post as regards a ghostwriting vacancy.

Although he informed me he had chosen someone to work with already, his response was so COOL (his words exactly) such that I got stuck to his content afterwards.

Use your data subscription well.

Dear business owner, if you can see a movie on YouTube without being cajoled then your business growth needs some intentional YOUTUBE/INSTAGRAM visitation on Ubong King's page.

Would you do that?

May his soul continue to rest in Christ.

I remain committed to your brand's success.

🧡

We are three days into a new month yet the events of last month stays fresh in my memory. Thankfully, it's the 11th month, one more month after this and 2020 is a wrap. Should we be excited? Or does it really matter?

However, the sad hijack and shootings that claimed lives of unarmed protesters is enough for anyone who followed closely to experience a shut down. I did.

Will I ever be READY to resume to the way things were before 20-10-20 et al? ...is what I keep asking myself. I had to turn down a book review and was also absent from a few online classes. Life happens.

We grief differently.

Sadly, these cruelsome events are now part of my memories, still, I'd gladly honour the fallen (s)heores with a place in my heart.

One can only hope for a better future, a new Nigeria that would ensure every fallen compatriot didn't die in vain. Till then, keep staying safe and be your brother's keeper.

Let's begin.💕

P.S: Karma isn't sleeping, it's only picking pebbles into a jar. If you know what I mean. Smile and rise up. Happy new month fam.

I will never deny the blessings of God upon me that has seen me through (difficult) moments.

If you don't mind, kindly say a prayer for me as I celebrate the beginning of a new chapter.

Happy birthday to me.

To whom it may concern.

If you would never go to a place with 5 million naira (appr. $11,000) to purchase a BRABUS or AMG or Ferrari... why would a "luxury" audience be attracted to your brand when you claim to sell your premium "cars" at a "cheap" price?

Don't send them away with your ridiculous pricing in the name of pleasing everyone. Your brand isn't ice cream and chocolate. 🤐

Now, scroll up and read the quote I posted again. I'm a DM away if you'd need help moving forward (with your branding experience).

Your
Michael A.

P.S: For more emphasis on identifying the difference between a mass audience and a luxury audience, check my IG stories to read more before it goes off.

Comparison would have stolen the growth of these three plants if they had switched places. ⁣

Likewise, as humans, don't hamper your growth because of distractions caused by a moving crowd. (I mean, don't compare your growth with competitors' sold out posts or whatever it is).⁣

My parting 2cents? ⁣

Know your blossom(ing) corner, wait/stay there and allow room for growth. Your value is beyond mere comparison. ⁣

Know this.⁣
