World leaders should seek a soft landing for Ukraine so that human suffering being inflicted by the cowardly Putin would stop and stop humanity from further misery. The Ukrainians have given their all but cannot win this war in the long run.

I have observed an ugly trend among some of the companies that extend short term loans to Nigerians. You find one person controlling several and do not have time to run them properly. They employ people that cannot write simple English as agents who I surmise do not know anything about the business. Sometimes one repays a loan but is being harassed about repayment as if they do not have a database to check customer repayment and when you complain they threaten with report to the Credit Bureau as if the customer do not have a right of reply at the Bureau. I will investigate this so called bureau with a view to educating Nigerians on their operations.

*A construction supervisor from the 16th floor of a building was calling a worker on the ground floor.* But because of the noise, the worker did not hear his Call.

To draw the attention of the worker, the supervisor threw a $50 note in front of the worker. The worker picked up the note, kept it in his pocket and continued to work.

Again to draw the attention of d worker, the supervisor threw $100 note and the worker this time quickly picked it and kept it in his pocket.

Now the supervisor picked a small stone and threw it at the worker.

The stone hit the worker. This time the worker looked up and the supervisor was now able to communicate with him.

Now think for a second... God wants to communicate with us, but we are too busy doing our worldly jobs.

Then, He gives us small gifts and big gifts... We just keep them... We keep on enjoying the gifts without thanking Him. At most, we just say: We are LUCKY.

But, when we are hit with a small stone which, we call PROBLEM(S), then we remember God.

That's when we look up to pray and communicate with Him. God gives, gives and forgives and we get, get and forget. Let's change our attitude.

So, don't wait for stones to be thrown before you know what to do or expected of you. Always, always and always remember God.

Make it a point to always say "God I thank You!!!" Sending this message to others will be beneficial to them.
Thanks and God bless.

BITTER LESSONS WE HAVE LEARNT THIS PAST FEW MONTHS:

1. United States is no longer the world's leading country.
2. China won the 3rd World War without firing a missile and no one could handle it.
3. Europeans are not as educated as they appear.
4. We can survive vacations without trips to Europe and USA.
5. Rich people are in fact less immune to diseases than the poor.
6. Human beings are opportunistic and despicable no matter their socioeconomic position when prices are rising.
7. Health is wealth
8. Human beings are the real viruses on the planet.
9. We surely can spend Billions of Dollars on the poor without red- tapism.
10. Health professionals are worth more than sports' persons and entertainers.
11. Oil is worthless in a society without consumption.
12. How animals feel in the zoo.
13. The planet regenerates quickly without humans at play.
14. Majority of people can work from home.
15. We and the kids can survive without junk food.
16. Prisoners in jail for petty crimes can be released.
17. Living a hygienic life is not difficult.
18. Not only women should know how to cook.
19. There are a lot of good people in the World.
20. If you build more schools and make them free, you will have to construct less hospitals and probably prisons.
21.Media is just manipulative and opportunistic.
22. Fame, wealth and position are vanity.

SUDDENLY...

Wealth no longer counts.

40 body guards are useless

You are confined to just one room in your mansion.

The 20,000 capacities Church buildings have run empty.

Same to the 5,000 capacities of mosque buildings have run empty.

You're now afraid of even your convoy.

No where to lavish your money.

No parties to attend.
All of a sudden, the only thing that matters is just to breathe.

This is nature and reality checking on us all, one more time.

This is God reminding us that the most precious gift in life is the AIR we BREATHE.

Could this be a time for sober reflection?

Life is telling the whole World that the Supreme BEING still watches, and has the universe in HIS Hands.

He is still in control of the whole universe.

NOTE:
HAVE WE REALLY LEARNT ANY LESSONS?
May God have mercy on us. Amen

ARREST & EXTRADITION OF HUSHPUPPIE : ANY LESSONS?

By G. Chijioke Odom, Pstr

Below are the photographs of Abbas Igbalode Ramoni, (famously known as Hushpuppie, worldwide), the Nigerian internet fraudster reputed to hv pulled off the biggest 419 in world history. He was arrested last week in a sting operation by the Dubai police in collaboration with the Interpol & FBI. The Dubai police had monitored his every move for the past 4 months whlie he had evaded Interpol for 6 years. Him & his assistant in crime whose nickname is Woodberry, were yesterday, July 2, extradited to the US to face charges.

Interpol, FBI & Dubai police files on him say he reportedly duped a total of 1 million & nine hundred & twenty-seven thousand & four hundred & tweny-eight ( 1, 927,428) people across all countires of the world. That is nearly 2 million persons, minus banks, companies, organisations, etc.

On his arrest last week, a total of N16bn cash was revovered from his Dubai residence, including 13 luxury cars worth over N 3.7 billion, 21 laptops, 47 smart phones, 15 flash drives, 5 hard drives containing over 200,000 files & host of other items. The estimated total receipt of the scam he executed is put conservatively at N168 billion given the evidences police were able to track through banks alone.

The Dubai police in UAE belive he has moved more than $430 in the last 3 years & was extremely active in this COVID-19 pandemic season.

In the US, I am most certain that he would be tried under what they call the RICO laws which they use to prosecute Mafia dons. The least in that sentence, if convicted is life imprisonment. The maximum is ex*****on in the gas chamber by lethal injection. His fourteen other colleagues were also arrested in the Dubai raid.

This morning, his extradition to the US has resulted in a diplomatic war btw the United Arab Emirates, US, UK, & the European Union countries all of which wanted him to come & face trials in their respective countries. But, the reality is that the US & UK hv a criminal extradition treaty with the UAE.

My final take:
(1) Hushpuppie was wanted for internet & banking & drugs fraud, etc, all over the world, but not in Nigeria. Never was he wanted in Nigeria! Neither the EFCC, NDLEA, nor the Special Frauds Unit of the Nigeria Police ever declared him wanted till date. A few days ago, the EFCC said categorically that he was never wanted by any law enforcement agencies in the country. Does that tell you something of the country we live in?
(2) What blew the lead on him was the scam he executed on an old woman, an aged widow in Pennsylvania, USA. I suspect that grandma may have cursed him, & God sent angels to activate her curse.
(3) Hushpuppie is so popular as a socialite & celebrity in Nigeria & especially in Lagos. Many serving senators have taken selfies with him & have severally posted them on the social media over time. They were excited to be associated with him & his ill-gotten wealth. Take it from me: If not for his current arrest, do not overrule the fact that he may hv ran for a National Assembly seat or state governorship office by 2023! Many of our leaders have same antecedents as him, & even Nigerians know.
(4) He made several videos of himself boasting with his ill-gotten wealth. In one of the videos, he was seen indicting Nigerians who dared to query the source of his wealth, derisively asking them if there is anyone in the country, no matter how highly placed who could pay his/her driver N700,000 per month as he( Hushpuppie) does for his own driver. With all these obscenities, he remained not a sinner, but a saint in Nigeria.

If you claim to be a Christian & you are not praying for this country, you are provoking God to to tears. I rest my case. Your reactions are welcome.
