Have you noticed that because it's a beautiful Sunday, it means its perfect day to *STOP* and *REFLECT*.
When last did you stop to reflect on the blessings you have and truly give thanks to God without asking for anything else? *Just Gratitude.*
I am Eternally Grateful to God for being alive this moment, because Do you know that some people have been sold off to slavery in Libya, did you see those utterly dehumanizing videos? 😱
Again a couple days back, a tanker caught fire along the festac link bridge, people died painfully by roasting and others lost properties while some sustained major injuries, it was a horrible sight. I'm sure you can picture that clearly over and over again.
In other areas people's houses and shops have been demolished in the name of expanding roads. Some are in the hospitals and worse off others at the mortuary.
I dont know where you'll be or what you'll be doing when you get this but you realise you need to take a moment to be grateful for what you have. Because for you to be reading this right now, you are definitely more favored than others.
*All the challenges you overcame to be here today made you who you are.* Warriors become warriors because they win battles.
Without saying much in today's post because there's really nothing to say other than to be grateful to God that i am favored enough to be alive and typing this message. I did say i always get too emotional during this period.
A wise saying goes, *"Who would you be if you don't count your blessings?"*
As I was going through my phones today to extract all my contacts (thousands of them in total) so i can upload them to Legendary SMS and schedule Xmas and new year messages, i could not help but be grateful for every single contact, even the ones i may not have spoken to in a long time. 🙏

What you didn't understand until now is that whatever it is you've been searching for is already with you. *God has already provided for you before you even knew you needed that thing but your eyes are too clouded to see*.
As you read along and start to realise how blessed you are, i want you to know that whatever connections you are looking for, someone among those your phone contacts already has it and *is the key to blessing you*.
But you know what? You've been too busy to say *"Hi"* or remember to even send an sms, because We live in a world where there's so much distraction. I know i'm 100% guilty of this and I fully accept.

Let's face it, some of us have 100s and thousands of contacts, its feels impossible to reach out to everyone. At least that's the excuse we tell ourselves.
And for me i know if i don't do this today, i will most likely forget completely or remember when its too late on Xmas day.
Even me that owns a bulk sms platform where i can just easily upload all my phone contacts to and at the click of a button send *"Hello, how are you today?"* to all my contacts, I still fall guilty to it. 😔
*Until you appreciate what and who you have, you will not get what you are asking/praying for.*
There are some basic principles that lead to success and you can't skip *GRATITUDE*. Because you realise that someone who is grateful for what he or she has been given, *MORE* will be given to them. We see practical examples of that everyday.
*Are you grateful for your existing contacts?*
At what point in reading this post did you realise that for you to have stored those numbers on your phone, even the ones you can't remember where or how you met, it means something good must have connected you and even more importantly *something greater is destined to come* from that relationship.
The least you can do is be the first person to send them Xmas and New Year wishes right on time.
Let your wishes be the first they read and you already know how powerful that is, because you recall the feeling you get when you rush to see who messaged you first. 😍
Lets face it, its impossible to compose and send to all your contacts on your phone at exactly 12am midnight on Xmas and New year. 😳
Worse off you can't schedule a message now to be delivered later on your phone. You can't even guaranty your phone will be charged at that moment. 🙆🏿♂
Moreso, you really can't tell where you'll be at that exact moment, you could be in church singing praises, or partying or sleeping and *its OK*...

..you should have seen the frenzy in the house when the SMSs started coming in and she dashed up and down (like Temple Run) following sms clues until she found her gift...while i just laughed and enjoyed the drama. 😂

Just try to be a little more creative in your delivery.
Relationships are too cliché these days. When last did you do something unusual & unpredictable?
