PGYEI 2017 Competitive Scholarship Program

Our 2016 award winner - Ms. Opeyemi Babalola has just completed her first year at the University of Ilorin, and we're back again!
Here is another opportunity to receive the PGYEI renewable scholarship for 2017. If you are a brilliant, articulate, motivated and visionary SS3 student or you just recently completed secondary school, and you're between the ages of 16-19 years, then the sum of N100,000.00 could be yours.
So are you aspiring to attend one of the best universities anywhere in the world with a scholarship? Do you want to be among the future leaders of Africa with a global mindset? Are you a parent and willing to have your child benefit from this free but competitive program? If your answer(s) to any/all these questions is/are "YES," then you can take advantage of our scholarship program.

Our competitive but highly rewarding scholarship program is aimed at developing ethical and responsible future leaders.
The First Section of the selection process requires every prospective applicant for the scholarship program to submit the following:
Part A: Personal Perspectives
1) What excites you most about African leadership and how can it be improved? (150words minimum)
2) Describe an activity or event in which you participated that is most meaningful or important to you. Explain why it is important or significant to you. What have you learned about yourself by taking part in this activity? (300 words maximum and 100words minimum)
Part B: Demonstrated Leadership Abilities
In this section, we would like you to describe a time when you identified a need in your community (such as your family, school, village, or town) and took action.
1) What need did you identify? (Maximum 100words)
2) How did you address this need (Maximum 250words)
3) What difficulties did you encounter? (Maximum 150words)
4) What were the outcomes? (Maximum 200words)
Part C: Extracurricular/Volunteer Services
Please list the most important activities (in order of importance to you) that you have participated in for the past 3years
(a) School or Community Service e.g. Student government
(b) Employment/Entrepreneurial Enterprises
(c) Competitions/Conferences/Special Programs
(d) Arts/Musicals
(e) Athletics
Forward all the above (type-written in Ms word document) with a separately typed and detailed curriculum vitae (including personal information, academic institutions attended with dates including contact details of the school principal of your current or last school attended, certificates, awards & recognitions received) to [email protected] and Cc: [email protected].
Deadline for Submission is 23:59hrs (GMT+1) on Saturday 14th October 2017. Prospective applicants are however advised to submit their applications in time for early decisions.
