Born on 1st June 1999 in Mbayongo, Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State, Yoon grew up with an understanding of the realities of rural life, agriculture, trade, and the daily struggles of ordinary people striving for a better future. From a young age, he demonstrated a passion for leadership, service, and finding solutions to challenges affecting his community.
Throughout his professional journey, he became involved with several organizations and initiatives, including Project coordinator Agricultural Produce Sellers Association of Nigeria (APSAN), State coordinator Benue Farmers and Traders Protection Development Association, consultancy engagements with the Benue State Board of Internal Revenue Service (BIRS), and the Office of the Governor on Local Government Area Market Coordination and Monitoring. Through these roles, he gained valuable experience in agricultural data collection, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, market monitoring, and community mobilization.
Driven by a desire to build sustainable solutions and contribute to economic development, Yoon founded YOON AND SONS GLOBAL, a company focused on agribusiness, research, consultancy, data management, project coordination, and community development. Under his leadership, the company continues to pursue opportunities that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and social impact.
Like many successful individuals, Yoon's journey has not been without challenges. He has faced financial constraints, setbacks, project delays, and periods of uncertainty. Yet, each challenge strengthened his resolve and deepened his belief that perseverance, integrity, and faith are essential ingredients for success.
Beyond his professional achievements, Yoon is a devoted family man. He is happily married to Terhemba Jennifer, and their union is blessed with a son, Yoon Terhide-Alushan Yuriel. The name Yuriel, meaning "God Is My Light" or "Flame of God," reflects the family's deep faith and belief in divine guidance. For Yoon, fatherhood is not only a blessing but also a source of motivation to build a legacy of purpose, responsibility, and service.
Those who know Yoon describe him as a visionary, a community-minded leader, and a man who believes strongly in the power of collaboration and development. His passion for agriculture, youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and data-driven decision-making continues to shape his work and aspirations.
