A solid network is an asset.
Its so powerful that it can help a drug lord become president.
It's not about how good your heart is. But your capacity to influence other people's thoughts + actions.
Here are 5 ways you can influence other people & 3x your net worth.
A solid network is not about the number of people in your circle.
It's quality of those people and the quality of your relationship with them.
How do you build a network of quality people?
1. Give value:
People love those who are valuable to them.
But then...
Value is relative.
To a beginner copywriter, value means client acquisition & referrals.
But to a master, time is more valuable than a random new client.
My point?
Don't just give "value", find out what they value and give it to them.
2. Keep in touch:
Ever heard the saying: "Out of sight, out of mind"?
To nurture a relationship, you have to stay in contact.
Show up daily. Create content.
That way, you're always in their thoughts.
3. Stand Out:
Define:
- who you are.
- the value you bring.
- who you help.
- how you help them.
What comes to mind when you hear Russell Brunson?
Funnels!
What about Steve Jobs?
And Golibe Ilechukwu?
Does your network know your expertise?
Do they trust your expertise?
4. Stand with your friends:
- Celebrate their wins.
- Empathize with them during the hard times.
- Commiserate with them when they grieve.
Don't just pop up whenever you need to give/receive value.
People remember those who stand with them.
5. Reward loyalty and punish disloyalty:
This is common with political leaders.
People know they stand to lose when they cross them.
In marketing, you may not punish disloyalty, but you must reward loyalty.
That's how you build your fan base & draw your believers closer.
