To all the fathers who are truly fathering, I write to you.
The role of fatherhood is sacred and must be carried out intentionally.
Fatherhood is a privilege, to sit in a seat of leadership patterned after God Himself.
Therefore, it must be exercised with love, forgiveness, patience, care, and, when necessary, with loving correction.
If you are given the opportunity to be a father, play the role excellently and with purpose.
Do not be an absentee dad in the life of your children.
Yes, you may be busy with work, but find ways to stay engaged.
You are their covering, their strength, and their first prototype through childhood. So please:
Be available.
Answer their questions.
Be present.
Do not be a father who abuses the mother, refuses to provide within his capacity, or is carried away by business and friends.
Remember, the emotional well-being of the children largely rests on your leadership, because your authority is experienced daily in the home.
When things are in order, it reflects that a father is truly in control.
The memories you create today will give birth to generations tomorrow.
When you feel weak, do not give up. Ask God for grace and strength; He will surely renew you.
You were entrusted by God with this role, employed by Him to build lives and shape the destinies of your household.
Do it as a service unto God, so that you may testify greatly and be honored on the last day.
Do not forget to seek help when you need it, and ask questions when you should. Strength also lies in humility.
To the fathers who are intentional about putting smiles on their childrenās faces, may the Lord strengthen you.
To those who work diligently to provide, may the Lord bless the work of your hands.
To fathers who sacrifice repeatedly to keep their families in peace and unity, may Godās grace abound toward you.
May the Lord reward you as you continue to sow seeds of leadership, provision, care, discipline, and godly parenting into the lives of our children.
