Who Lied To You?
Who lied to you that youthful life as a child of God is boring? Who lied to you that you cannot have all the 'good' fun on earth because you are 'born again'. Tell the individual that true fun begins first when you have made peace with your maker, then with His guidance, you can have have all the good fun that you deserve. Remember, what is life without adventure? What experience have you got as a youth to share to the younger ones?
It's Saturday, where are you going to have fun? Remember that you as a child of God deserve the best fun. Don't sit home all day, get thee up and go make merry!
I was also against the whole idea of going to have fun, "what would I be doing there?" I would ask myself, I've realized that you cannot learn everything by reading, life experience is another good form of learning.
So don't be like me, get up and go get experience but remember not to leave your title as a "child of God" while having that fun.

LISTENING.

The act of listening is a very difficult thing and so not everyone is able to listen.
In situations, trouble, lecture rooms, etc No body wants to listen, everyone wants to voice out, everybody has something to say but only few are willing to Listen.

Listening for me is one side a coin of patience and learning. Imagine been accused of something you did not do, you have a lot to say, to defend yourself but you just have to wait.

Not too long ago, I had a case with my school mates in our place of practice... They were so angry and then began to talk about me there, saying things that I did not do, I wanted to speak, let us raise our voices so that the person I was being accused of telling things to would come to my aid but I just shut up, and they continued to spew things and that was when I knew that , 'Omo, no be everybody go like say you dey dey on your own or even dey come check on them, sef'.

Listening is a skill that great people possess, don't always be in a hurry to talk, to air your view only talk when you are asked to and when others have finished talking, you'll earn more respect. When I find too people arguing at the top of their voices, I no that reconciliation is no way near, one has to Listen for settlement to be achieved.

Possess the Listening skill, it will help you through life!

Know Your Worth! (2)

Tell yourself that as a young person, you don't need a sugar daddy or mummy to make it in life.

Be content!

Work harder if you must,to afford what you want.

Read your books as a student and stop looking for a lecturer to befriend so you can sign out of school. How do you think your future will be afterwards? Will you continue to meet men to get what you want and risk your life?

Life itself is a risk, we must not take risks that we know could harm us.

When you know your WORTH, you will walk with your chins up, when you respect yourself, you will be respected.

You don't need to put your future in 'tight corner' because you want to 'enjoy' your youth. Find your WORTH as a Youth, work towards it's achievement and smile in satisfaction when your bones become weak due to age.

Your generation and future deserve better than "in those days, I wear the latest designers, ate the best meals..etc". Let them see it with their eyes and praise God for coming through you.

Nothing good comes easy,

If there is no pain, there won't be gain,

Both the good and bad comes with pain but the reward that comes from the good, is worth it.

Know your Worth!(1)

The both genders made by God were made for specific purposes. He created man and formed the woman from the man. But that He made women from men does not and should not make the female gender chasers of men.

You are beautifully created not to chase after boys, guys,men but for them to chase you, admire you and still respect you.
A lot of young ladies do not know their worth, they now move around from place to place looking for men that will take care of them.. They are looking for godfathers, promiscuous businessmen who do not know what to do with their money to come and spend on them.

Am I saying it is wrong for a man to spend on you as a lady?

No!

But know the kind of man he is. Will you have to give something in exchange for the money.... Even if you both are engaged to be married and you spend the night in his house, you go over for the weekend, you can still be likened to the one standing on the road looking for clients.

Hardwork pays... Go get a job, earn yourself respect and stop begging.

Knowing your Worth does not mean one should be proud or boastful,it is understanding the "Purpose" you were birthed to fulfil.

BECOMING MONEY SLAVES..
What are people not willing to do because of money? What sacrifice can they not give just to be in possession of money?
Many people have sworn to make money no matter what it takes. They are willing to sacrifice their future, loved ones and even generations unborn to make money.
Different stories have come up backed up with evidences about sacrifices people make because of money, forgetting or ignoring the consequences.
Am I saying having money is a sin?
Of course not!
Am I saying it is wrong for one to want money?
Heck no!
All I'm saying is; stop whatever wrong means you are getting money from and go through the right part. If you follow the man that created money, do you think He would not give you enough?
He never comes late, Humans are not just patient till He gives them, they want it so quickly which turns out bad for them.
You know this man, He is an invisible friend willing to help...
Go to Him,
He awaits you.

GOD & MONEY.

These two, (God and money)are very powerful. Although one is most powerful and both fight for mastery over the souls of men. What we see these days are people who think life is all about how much you have in your bank account, how expensive your clothes are, the cars you drive et.c
People have sold their souls to money even after God gave His son's blood. They have given their service to mammon (god of money) forgetting that money is temporal, they have been enticed, they have been deceived by money. It now controls most individuals, some have sold their generation to slavery just to wear the latest designs, many have died looking for money but how many has died looking for GOD?
Worst of it are those serving both God and mammon even when God has clearly said, it is not possible to serve Him and money. Doing or having businesses is not a sin, desiring to have money is no sin either but what do you do to get that money? What are your intentions of getting the money? It is true, Money answers almost everything on earth. ''On earth'' that is the only place money has power and in some cases on earth, it doesn't solve all things.
But there is a Being who has control over everything on Earth and in Heaven, He carries the world in His hand, He loves us and wants us to be where He is.
Is it money? You'll make clean money if you seek God's face and enjoy the money. He wants your safety and happiness but most importantly, He wants your Soul to be in everlasting rest.
This is a New Year, you have been chasing Money all these years, it is now to chase after God. It is 2023, put God first, you will see the difference.

WHO NEVER F**K UP, HANDS IN THE AIR.(Trend)
This is the new defense of people who have refused to take corrections. I mean, it is very okay to make mistakes but repeating these mistakes is the problem and when corrected you say, "Hands in the air if you haven't fu**ed up".
Our elders of course made mistakes, they are also human only God is the perfect one but then some of them do not want their young ones to make same mistakes as they did.
They understand that youths always wants adventures but also want them to think of life after their youth-years. Whatever you do or however you live your life in this early stage of life determines the future for you.
It's true that nowadays, people are advised to live in the present, live in the moments but know that this present and moment plays a part in the future. Don't live a life that you'd spend the rest of your adult years regretting, running around for help, avoid everything that will jeopardize your future and take corrections from people who have had life experiences from their past.

WHAT NAME HAVE YOU GIVEN YOURSELF?
A man of God once told me, "Gift, you are not what people call you, you are what you answer". When he told me that, I was younger and really didn't understand but now I do.
Life will throw things at you, at some point in some peoples' lives, their family members thinks that nothing good can come out of them, the individual have tried to make his/her life meaningful but all to no avail and then people insult you directly and indirectly, they call a failure, one that nothing good can come out from, a total waste et.c. I don't have a problem that they called you those names, my problem is why you answered them! Most of our parents gave us Biblical name or names with great and wonderful meanings yet you believe you are a failure?
Do not answer the name God hasn't called you! You are not a failure, you are not a waste and something great can come out of you, HE [God]made all things Brightt and Beautiful, He sent His son to die for you, God knows who you are and God is never a failure so why should you fail.
What people feel or say about you doesn't really matter, what truly matters, Is what you say about yourself. Change that negative and pessimistic mindset and thought of yours and take up the name that God has called you, today!

LIFE!
Today, in the house of Mr. A, he just became a father after waiting for years, in the house of Mr. B, his wife gave birth but couldn't make it out of the room alive while Mr. C lost both wife and child. Today, many people are celebrating their birthday anniversary while in some houses, people are mourning, they just lost a loved one. Someone just bought a house or car but someone has to sleep in an abandoned bus.Some people are happily married, some can't wait to get divorced or separated. Someone just got a dream job while an individual just got sacked.
It goes on and on, LIFE! so much unpredictable! But in all life's situation, ensure that you are happy, ensure you lead a purposeful life. Understand that you met this world and you'd still leave this world one day, remember that this is not the only life that you should plan for. There is another life after this life. You cannot get everything you wish for no matter the kind of money you have that's how much vanity this life is...
Don't go to do something you would regret later because you want to wear Dior, Versace,et.c or because you want to drive 2021/2022 cars, new inventions will come and new designs better than these, such is LIFE! You cannot take total control of Life so why endanger your life for something you would not take to the world beyond?
Money and material possessions are very important in life but then, there's something much more important, YOUR LIFE(SOUL) It is the kind of life you chose to live on earth that determines where your soul will be at the end...
Bottom line is, you don't have the key to Life, even Satan doesn't only God does and in all your doings, in all Life's situation always remember that this is not where your life will end, the journey is still far but you can make the right choice to follow the THE JESUS WAY, that way leads to life after this life.
He is still in the business of saving souls today, don't judge yourself when Christ has not judged you.

MARRIAGE!!
Often times, young girls refer to marriage as 'Bo***ge' but was it what God had in mind when he created marriage??
Marriage is an institution that one cannot graduate from but there is no perfect marriage anywhere because there are no perfect human anywhere. Marriage was created by God, he created man and made the woman from the man as an help meet.
Although some marriages in our world today is a big discouragement to the young and singles, there are still marriages that can be an encouragement.

Do not go into marriage because your mates are getting married,
Don't get married because you want 'Mrs'to be attached to your name,
Don't get married because you want to leave your parents' house.

Let there be a tangible reason why you want to be married because there are a lot of responsibilities that accompany marriage and if you are not ready to take up those responsibilities then don't go into it. For one to be ready to married as a man you have to be A MAN [Mature], BE A HUSBAND AND THEN A FATHER. You don't necessarily need to be married before you begin to see yourself as a husband or have a child before you see yourself as a father, the ability to take up those responsibilities makes you ready for marriage. As a lady, you have to be A WOMAN[mature], A WIFE and A MOTHER.

Don't go by sight when it comes to marriage,pray to God to give you your own,, Love alone does not sustain marriage it is only one of the pillars of marriage, pray for wisdom for it is the principal thing.

Let God be the foundation of your marriage and then you enjoy the blessings that accompanies marriage.
