As a reviewer, I'll say this: Beauty in Black isn't perfect. The storytelling can be over-the-top, the twists are outrageous, and the drama is intense. But that's also what makes it addictive. Every episode leaves you saying, "Just one more..."
Now the biggest question is:

After publicly stepping back from the project and saying she wouldn't be watching it, the first official look at Children of Blood and Bone has finally been released.
The highly anticipated fantasy film features a star-studded lineup, including Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Cynthia Erivo, Damson Idris, Thuso Mbedu, Lashana Lynch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Amandla Stenberg.
The production also announced appearances from Nigerian talents Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Sham Garuba, and music star Ayra Starr.
However, much of the online discussion has centered on Amandla Stenberg's casting as Princess Amari. In Tomi Adeyemi's novel, Amari's dark skin is a meaningful part of her identity and plays a key role in her experiences within the royal family.
Many readers believe casting a lighter-skinned, biracial actress changes an important part of the character's story and reflects a long-running conversation about darker-skinned Black actresses being overlooked for major roles.
The casting has also reignited debates—particularly among Nigerians—about the small number of Nollywood actors in leading roles, as well as concerns over accents and staying true to the story's cultural roots.
Following the controversy surrounding Tomi Adeyemi's relationship with the adaptation, it's still uncertain whether RMD, Sham Garuba, and Ayra Starr remain in the film's final cast.
Children of Blood and Bone is currently set to premiere in cinemas on January 15.

Can somebody explain Madam's priorities? 😂
She's spent more time strolling around with Tommy's walking stick and tending to her vegetable garden than trying to figure out who pulled the trigger. At this point, you'd think solving the shooting would be priority number one.
And can we talk about how she's moving like the bullet hit her leg when we all watched her get shot in the chest? The recovery timeline has me asking questions. 😅
Is this intentional storytelling, or are we just supposed to roll with it?

The first-look photos for Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Again?, the third installment of the iconic franchise, are finally here—and there's already plenty to talk about.
One thing fans immediately noticed? Janet Jackson, who played Patricia, is nowhere to be seen. As one of the original cast members, her absence definitely stands out.
Joining the cast this time is Oscar-nominated Taraji P. Henson, a familiar face in the Tyler Perry universe. But let's be honest—she's not replacing Patricia. We all know Taraji's energy is on a whole different level. 😂
What I'm really curious about is how they'll explain Patricia's absence, especially with the wedding taking center stage. She was the heart of the group—the calm voice of reason who always managed to keep everyone together whenever things got out of hand.

The highly anticipated cast reveal for Mo Abudu’s cinematic adaptation of The Secret Lives of Baba Segi’s Wives has finally arrived, and we now know who will be bringing each character to life.
As many expected, Odunlade Adekola takes the lead role as Baba Segi, while Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, and Bimbo Ademoye step into the roles of Iya Segi, Iya Tope, and Iya Femi — his three wives.
Omowunmi Dada will portray Bolanle, with Bimbo Manuel taking on the role of Teacher.
The impressive ensemble continues with Nkechi Blessing as Mrs. Bakare and Bisola Aiyeola as Yemisi.
Kunle Remi joins as Tunde, Rotimi Fakunle as Taju, Tina Mba as Nurse, Mike Ezuruonye as Butcher, Nancy Isime as Bisi, and Bolaji Ogunmola as Aunty Clara.
