Farming is sweet, farming is cool, farming is an adventure but farming is not for the fainted heart, it is not for the wearying heart, and it's not a get rich quick syndrome.
Farming may be delicate sometime, but with the guide of an experienced mentor, scaling up and crossing over the odds are much more ascertain.
Farming has its rising and falling, is it the uncertainty of today's weather (too hot or too cool, drought or snow, incessant rainfall year in, year out and more), or insecurity ( uncontrollable heard men that destroys farmers crops, Theft, middlemen that buy from farmers at unreasonable farm Gate price) or lack of farm workers, all these are overwhelming and making farm operations a odd.
With innovative technologies and modern ways of farming that makes farming more lucrative and admirable, if adopted, and practice in the right way, for sure farming is profitable.
It is not a must that my hands are dirty or my cloth is dirty while working on my farm, or I must be poor because I am a farmer, as farming is not synonymous to poor. Farming must be like every other lucrative profession out there.
Stop seeing farming as an occupation for the poor or seeing yourself as a poor farmer, have a good plan for your farming business this new season and execute rightly at the right time.
