Sometimes the same thing that causes a problem is also what helps solve it.

Someone can be driving a car and get into an accident, yet another car is used to rush the person to the hospital.

A woman may abuse a drug and harm her body, but doctors still use another drug carefully to treat her.

Fire can burn someone, yet fire is also used to sterilize medical tools.

A snake can bite a person, but scientists use snake venom to make antivenom that saves lives.

Life teaches us an important lesson: many things are not bad on their own. It is the way we use them that determines whether they harm us or help us.

I’ve been thinking about something recently.

Many times we expect big changes in our lives, which is a very good thing.

We expect something huge to happen and suddenly make us better people. Right?

But sometimes we forget the little things that matter too, like…

The books we keep reading.
The people we choose to listen to.
The questions we ask.
How we spend ordinary evenings.
What we keep doing for too long.
What we tolerate.
And the things we expose our minds to.

These things may not look important at the time.

But if you pay attention, you’ll realize they are slowly becoming your life.

So…

It might be worth paying closer attention to the small things we repeat every day.

One quiet habit that is changing my life is reading everyday.

It’s not something I used to take very seriously before, but I’m beginning to see how powerful it is.

I’ve realised that when you read consistently, you start to see things differently.

Your thinking becomes clearer, and you begin to learn from people you may never meet in real life.

You don’t have to rush through books or read for hours. Even 15–20 pages a day can make a difference over time.

Right now, I’m reading "The Mountain Is You" and it’s giving me a lot to think about.

What are you currently reading?

10 SIMPLE LESSONS from....
GET SMART BY BRIAN TRACY.

1ļøāƒ£ Never stop learning.
Your ability to earn and grow increases when you keep improving your knowledge.

2ļøāƒ£ Invest in your mind.
The best investment you can make is in yourself.

3ļøāƒ£ Think before you act.
Clear thinking leads to better decisions and fewer mistakes.

4ļøāƒ£ Set clear goals.
If you don’t know what you want, you won’t know where to focus your energy.

5ļøāƒ£ Take full responsibility.
Successful people don’t blame others. They always take full responsibility.

6ļøāƒ£ Manage your time wisely.
Focus on what truly matters, not just what demands your attention.

7ļøāƒ£ Use your strengths.
Do more of what you are good at and keep improving it.

8ļøāƒ£ Surround yourself with smart people.
You grow faster when you learn from those ahead of you.

9ļøāƒ£ Take action.
What you learn only helps you when you use it.

šŸ”Ÿ Be consistent.
Small daily effort brings big results over time.

It’s not a scam!

Just because something isn’t working yet doesn’t make it a scam.

Imagine planting a curry seed and waiting all night for it to sprout, then calling it a scam because it didn’t grow immediately. How ridiculous!

Great things take time.

There are seasons and processes we cannot just rush.

What truly matters is how we show up, how we handle responsibilities, and how we push through obstacles.

In the end, it will make sense, and those who thought we were wasting our time will see that hard work and effort are never a scam.

This week, I’m learning patience.

I’m learning to rise above opinions.

I’m learning to wait for my turn without doubting my efforts.

Happy weekend, champions!

PS: Since I used "curry" as a point of illustration for this post, I said it'd be necessary for me to share some pictures of my curry plants as well.šŸ˜…

First image: My curry plants weeks after I planted the seeds.

Second image: My curry plants weeksssss later. This time around, rice and stew became my favourite because why not?...

You got the message, right??šŸ˜…

I believe we can control our subconscious minds if we control the kind of words we say.

That is why I strongly recommend what we call words of affirmation.

You say them until they become a part of you.

Let’s say you’re struggling with procrastination. Your words of affirmation can be:

I take action without delay.

I make good use of my time.
And so on.

Pick any area of your life you’re struggling with and write down at least five positive words of affirmation.

Say them out loud every day until you start to see results.
Say them as if you have already achieved it.

Instead of saying, ā€œI will manage my time properly,ā€ say something like, ā€œI am good at time management.ā€

If you say it long enough, it becomes your reality.

If you want to achieve something, your words of affirmation should say that you have already achieved it.

For instance:
I make 10 million every month.

I am very healthy.

This is one of the things I love about Digital Wealth and Influence Nation.

We don’t joke with our daily affirmations. And guess what? It is shaping our lives positively and giving us the identity we want.

I hope this helps. So what can you do right now?

Get a book or jotter and write down at least five words of affirmation you can say daily, something you want to start seeing in your life.

Amennn?

I wrote down how many books I’ll be reading in 2026..

12, that’s the number.

I told myself that 6 out of the 12 will be hard copies, owned by me.

And yes! I bought my first book..."The Smart Money Woman by Arese Ugwu".

Somebody shout powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 😁

I was gifted two books last month, so I now have 3 copies on my shelf. Very soon, I’ll have a library.

What changed for me? I decided to read more hard-copy books this year. I think I’ve read enough ebooks.

So I wrote it down and planned a few hard-copy books to save up for.

Now, I’ve added two more to my collection. Even though I’ve read one of them before, I’ll read it again.

What about you, dear reader? Have you planned how you’ll read this year, the books you’ll read?

Will it be soft copy or hard copy?

If you can’t afford a hard copy, start with an ebook.

I started with ebooks, and I have lots of them. I’ll continue reading ebooks once I’ve exhausted the hard copies I have currently.

Send me a DM if you need an ebook to read. State the book and the author.

If you have none in mind, I can recommend one. Go ahead and tell me the kind of book you’d love to read.

Let’s go!

Sometime last week, Wednesday to be precise.

I attended a monetization class on DWIN (Digital Wealth and Influence Nation).

Our leader, Coach Winner really shared a lot of value.

One thing she taught us that stood out was about content creation.

Naturally, many of us feel we shouldn’t post the same content twice. But we were encouraged that it’s okay to repeat a post.

You can bring it back, polish it, improve it, and share it again.

There’s really no excuse to say you have nothing to share. So many things happen every day that you can learn from and teach others through your content.

Happy new week, champions!
