He Made Me Quit My Job

He Said "I Will Take Care Of You" 💸💔

I had a good job in Victoria Island. Marketing. My own salary.

He said "Why stress? Quit. I will take care of you."

So I quit. Then my salary became "allowance". My allowance became "What did you use the money for? Why did you buy meat? You're wasting money."

Rent overdue. NEPA bill due. Grocery N15,000 — "too much". Total left: N1,800. That day I was counting N500, N200 notes with tears.

He didn't want to provide. He wanted me to DEPEND. When you have no income, you have no exit.
