EMPLOYMENT ADVERTISEMENT
Our client, a reputable player in the hospitality industry (a 86 rooms hotel with five halls, bush bar, and spacious car park capable of taking over 40 motors) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is currently looking for an experienced, highly motivated and qualified candidate for immediate employment in the following positions:
A. GENERAL MANAGER:
The General Manager must have a minimum of 10 years working experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving in a managerial position. He or she shall be expected to take control of the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
As the General Manager, he or she shall work with and develop the team to provide exceptional guest service, continually exceeding the highest possible standards whilst overseeing the smooth running of the hotel operations ensuring the hotel objectives are met and maintained at all times through maximizing occupancy, revenue, and maintaining and building on the reputation of the hotel.
B. TWO MALE & TWO FEMALE MARKETERS:
The qualified person(s) must have a minimum of 10 years of working experience in the hospitality industry, currently serving in this capacity as a marketer. He or she shall be responsible for maximizing a hotel's revenues by developing programmes to increase occupancy and make profitable use of its accommodation, meeting, and leisure facilities. He or she must maintain awareness of the factors that influence the hospitality industry and gain a deep understanding of the needs and attitudes of a hotel’s guests. He or she shall also be responsible for coordinating marketing and promotional activities to meet guests' needs, working closely with other hotel staff to ensure guests are satisfied with the facilities and their time there.
The qualified applicant for any of the above positions must be computer literate and live in and around Port Harcourt/Obio-Akpor environs, be 25 years, and above and should be able to work under limited supervision.
Minimum Qualification Required: BSc/HND. Professional qualification(s) is/are of added advantage
